Pursuing My Ex Wife in Full Blooming Spring novel (Naomi) novel Chapter 280

Jonas replied, "Alright. It's late. Get some rest."

Then, he hung up.

Jonas knew that Scott would not let this go that easily. He believed that Scott already had a plan in mind, even during their call.

Jonas looked at the video still playing on his screen and rang up someone else. "Send someone to follow Naomi. Report to me if anything happens."

"Yes, sir."

Scott put down his phone. His knuckles looked whiter than usual. He looked out at the city skyline, but the lights never reached into his darkened gaze.

Minutes later, he placed his phone on the bar and closed his eyes.

At that moment, silence was all around as if nothing had ever happened.

The night was still young in Herland.

Naomi and Charles went to Lucky Street, the area where street food of various types thrived. This was where Charles wanted to take her.

Dylan had taken Naomi and the others there before.

Lucky Street was a long street, and they did not stop to try the food here. Nonetheless, Dylan mentioned that he would take the younger members to try the food here.

After all, most of them were all older people. They could not take such unhealthy foods, so Dylan did not take them along. He only told them that there was such a place that would suit young people.

When Charles heard what she said, he looked at her and said gently, "You can't finish one portion?"

Naomi nodded.

The owner of the cart smiled and said, "Simple. I'll just make one with one and a half portions, while the other I'll make it half. Or perhaps you two want to share one portion?

"There are a lot of things to try in Lucky Street, and you'll need a few days to try them all. Take one portion, then you could try the others! I'm sure you'll like them all!"

The owner was a pleasant man. He got them to just buy one portion and try the other street foods.

Naomi smiled. "Then…"

Before she could say anything, she was interrupted.
