Chapter 50 

Naomi smiled at Olivia and left the ward with Dean. The person in charge also left with them. 

Meanwhile, bouna placed the flowers and fruit basket on the ground and said to Olivia, “Miss, please come again. We understand your intentions, but what you desire is not what we desire, There’s 

no need for this.” 

By now, Donna did not even offer a hint of a smile. In injuring their daughter this way, being polite was rational enough for her. She left the ward, silently fuming after saying her plece. 

Outside the ward, near the nurses‘ station, Charles was answering phone calls from Amelia and Sean separately. 

Amelia had already arrived in Horizon City. He informed her of the situation, asking her to wall at Horizon City Hospital. He and Naomi would arrive later. 

After hanging up with Amella, Scan 

call came through, inquiring if Amella had arrived in Horizon City. Charles confirmed that she had. Sean audibly perked up at this and started making plans to come to Horizon City as well. 

Charles knew that Sean had never let go of Amella, always wanting to reconelle with her. Unfortunately, Amelia paid no attention to him at all. 

This was a perfect opportunity, and he was not willing to give up. Charles secretly hoped they could be together, but there were certain matters he could not intervene in. 

As a good friend, he always helped whenever he could. This was no exception; he would lend his. 

assistance. 

“Bro, if this works out let’s have our weddings together. That would be epic!” 

Sean always had great ideas. 

Charles did not want to dampen his enthusiasm. Spotting Naomi and the others coming out, he said, ” Alright, I won’t take up too much of your time. We’re heading to the city hospital.” 

“Sure, sure. I know you’re busy. We’ll catch up when we get there!” With that, Sean promptly hung up. 

Charles sighed, pocketed his phone, and caught up with the group. As he got closer, he noticed that everyone’s expressions were not quite right. Naomi looked troubled, while Donna and Dean looked terribly grim. 

Something must have happened just moments ago. 

He wanted to question them about it but thought better of it and held back. He would surely find out 

later. This was not the time to ask. 

Soon, the group entered the elevator. 

Inside the hospital room, Olivia stood motionless, watching everything unfold with a smile that
