Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 1964
Bonnie had been mocking Jim about being deceived by Charlotte, but to fim, it felt as though she was mocking him about falling for her and Luna‘s tricks previously
His expression darkened as soon as he made this realization
He stared coldly at Bonnie‘s cackling face and curled his lips into a sneer. “Do you think this is funny?”
Bonnie finally stopped laughing and replied, with a slightly pitiful look on her face, “Don’t you think it’s sad, Jim?”
“I pity you more.” Jim glanced coldly at her and added impassively, “You don’t appreciate having someone who loves you as much as Christopher does, and instead, got yourself knocked up with another man‘s dirty offspring.”
Dirty offspring
These two words felt like thorns pricking into Bonnie‘s heart.
She bit her lip and dug her nails into her palms so hard that her fingers started to hurt, but she did not seem to notice this.
She stared at Jim intently. She had so much to say to him, but no words could encompass her feelings.
Luna could not bear to see her like this. Sucking her lip harshly, she gently grabbed hold of Bonnie‘s hand to comfort her, and glanced at Sean, who was standing a short distance away.” Come help me bring Bonnie upstairs.”
Luna could tell that Bonnie was beginning to grow upset, and she was worried she would not be able to bring Bonnie upstairs on her own.
She would rather ask Sean to help her than risk embarrassing herself in front of Jim and Christopher
Sean paused for a moment, then quickly strode over. “Ms. Bonnie.”
Bonnie regained her composure, let out an exhale, and stood up.
