Luna took a deep breath and opened the door with the key.
It was quiet in the room.
The afternoon sun shone through the small window on the ceiling, forming a beam of light.
A woman in a hospital gown with messy hair was sitting at the corner with her head buried between her legs. She was so quiet it was as if she did not exist.
Luna closed her eyes in despair.
That person was not Aura. Aura would not be so quiet and obedient.
After a while, she sighed and said, “Bonnie.“
The woman by the bed jolted a little, then she slowly lifted her head.
Under the messy hair was Bonnie’s clean face.
This was the first time that she saw Bonnie without her glasses. She did not expect that it would be under such circumstances.
“It really is you. “ Bonnie looked at Luna and smiled bitterly yet helplessly. “I thought I could get through today.“
She did not expect that she would be exposed so quickly in less than an hour.
Seeing Bonnie’s calm look, Luna felt a huge hammer smashing her heart. It was painful and insufferable.
She has never once suspected Bonnie, because the moment she joined Lynch Group, Bonnie presented herself as a simple, adorable, and naive girl. Luna liked girls like Bonnie, who are young and have their own opinions.
However, she did not expect that she would be tricked by her.
Luna took a deep breath and sat on the chair. She glanced at Bonnie coldly. “Didn’t you say that you hate Aura? What is it now? Because you hate her so much you start to love her? You’re willing to give up everything for her?“
“No.“ Bonnie lifted her head and looked at Luna. She smiled gently. “I still hate her. I do this because I have my own reasons.“
“What could it be that you would do such a thing for the woman you hate?“
“Luna, you don’t have to be so hostile.“
