Death Curse..

Hearing the words, Ming Yue abruptly lifted her head, staring at the blood puddle on the ceiling as something slowly came out from it. Tightened the grip on Silver Moon in her hand, Ming Yue mused inwardly.

'Looks like there's still more to come.. huh..?'

The thing that came from the blood was hideous. The very picture of people's nightmare. What appeared first was a head that looked like wearing a war helmet, glowing red eyes and fangs. Then came the tattered black robe and skull hands. The students were screaming behind Mo Liu as soon as they saw the black robe creature.

"What was that?!"

"Dammit! More demons?! What the hell is happening to this school?!"

"The cat said it's death curse right?! So we're going to die?!"

"NOOOOO!!! I haven't finished the comics I have bought yesterday!!"

"THAT'S what you're worrying right now?!"

Ling Mao turned her head to Ming Yue, "Master! This demon called 'Tunshi Zhe'! It means Devourer!" She said, ignoring the stupid conversation between the students. "If I am not mistaken only one death curse using Devourer as servants, the ancient death curse of Hundred Blood, Bai Xue!"

However what she didn't understand, Ancient death curse of Hundred Blood belonged to Curse King and it was said that he disappeared after 'that time' thousand years ago. How could it appear now?!

"Curse of Hundred Blood! It's that damn Curse King's spell isn't it?!" Bai Hu roared

"Yes, a curse that gathers blood of hundred people for cultivation." Ling Mao explained, "But.."

"We can discuss later! Bai Hu can your barrier withstand the devourer's attacks?" Ming Yue who saw devourers came one by one, floating as if preparing to have a feast, asked Bai Hu. Yang Lixin, Mo Liu and Doctor Yan who heard their conversation could only stood there in silence. It was clear as day that they wouldn't be any useful so they could only wait anxiously.

"I hope so, Master. My barrier can hold out lower to middle class demon but if it's high level, I don't know how long it will stand." Bai Hu answered, feeling uncertain. It wasn't that he couldn't make a stronger barrier, the problem was, the targets were mortals. Stronger barrier would put a strain on mortal's bodies.

"Zhu Que! Xuan Wu!" Ming Yue shouted, Phoenix and big size turtle appeared. Seeing the legendary beings appeared out of thin air and under the command of Ming Yue, the students gaped at her, they were rendered speechless. The three adults, Mo Liu, Yang Lixin and Doctor Yan were stunned. They stared at Ming Yue as if she was not a human.

Well they were not wrong at all..

The person who could easily call upon legendary beings such as Phoenix and Dragon..

Could the person still be called human?

"Zhu Que, Xuan Wu, change to human form. Go to second and third floor, deal with the devourers there." Ordered Ming Yue. "Hold anyone who wants to run, tell them not to move. They will be transported to assembly hall right away!"

"Yes, Master!" Zhu Que and Xuan Wu turned to their human form and used qinggong to move to second and third floor.

"Qing Long! You do the same, try to hold back the devourer from hurting the students!" Ming Yue spoke but her mind always connected to the four beast and Ling Mao.

"Yes, Master!" Hearing Qing Long answered, Ming Yue turned her gaze to the white tiger.

"Bai Hu! Change to human form, we will need you to create barrier around the assembly hall, as strong as possible." Ming Yue ordered. Bai Hu grinned, showing his white fangs as he changed to human form.

Seeing Bai Hu's human form, something clicked in Mo Liu's mind. It turned out the guy who was with Ming Yue at the time was this white tiger, then the other one must be.. the dragon. Mo Liu turned his gaze to Ming Yue, feeling that she was close but out of reach.

She was like the moon up in the night sky, shining so beautifully.

It could be seen but couldn't be touched..

But still.. His desire burned brightly..

He wanted to make this shining moon.. His..

Yet.. He somehow had a doubt if he could do it..

Her guardians.. were not something to be taken lightly..

"Come!" Ming Yue's voice snapped Mo Liu out of his daze, "Follow me, Quick!" She said as she opened the door and found herself outside the school building. A short hallway connected the two building, on each sides were small gardens.

They finally reached the assembly hall. The ghouls started to gather in that hall, it seemed they appeared where humans existed. luckily there was no devourer, it seemed they only appeared on school building.

"Bai Hu!" Ming Yue who dashed forward and started slashing the ghouls, shouted. Mo Liu and Yang Lixin also followed along, helping Ming Yue in defeating the ghouls.

"Who do I think I am?" Ming Yue turned around, "Your savior." She added.

"If I didn't order my guardian spirit, Bai Hu to put barrier around your body, you already became a prey to those ghouls. So put that in your idiotic mind and shut the hell up." Ming Yue said in more colder tone, then a ruthless smile appeared on her face.

"Or should I drag you out instead? Let those ghouls prey on your body. You have meat at least, it must satisfying."

"YOU!!!" Qing Xu Lin wanted to curse Ming Yue out loud but Ming Yue shouted out loud.

"Bai Hu! Drag the slut outside, let the ghouls eat her!"

Bai Hu grinned as he snapped his fingers and gust of wind started to make Qing Xu Lin's body fell to the floor, grabbed her by the ankle and dragged her to the door. Qing Xu Lin started to scream and crying all the way to the door. Other people had their faces became pale and Principal Zhuge, being the kind person he was, started to speak for Qing Xu Lin.

"Student Ming Yue, please have mercy!" He said.

"Mercy? Why should I?" Ming Yue snorted cold, asked the question with mirthless eyes.

"She is still young, I apologize for her words and action but please have mercy on her life." Principal Zhuge said, stating his reason.

"Bai Hu." Ming Yue called. Bai Hu clicked his tongue and snapped his fingers again. The wind that was dragging Qing Xu Lin disappeared and Qing Xu Lin was sobbing on the floor.

"A mortal like her better die, less trouble to the world." He commented in casual tone, the people was stunned to hear him saying something like that so casually. "Can I cripple her, Master?" he asked eagerly, making the people felt terror instead.

"No need, it will be troublesome later." Ming Yue said and stared at the rest of the people behind Principal Zhuge. "Stay nicely here and don't leave this building. It will be over soon."

"What are you going to do, Little moon?" Mo Liu asked as he walked toward her. He didn't mind the stares that were directed at him the moment he said 'Little Moon'.

"I am going to kill the person who started all this." Ming Yue answered.

"Be careful." Mo Liu warned her. In truth he wanted to come along but Mo Liu understood that he couldn't do anything to help. It was beyond his power. For the first time in his life, he regretted for not having the power to help the girl he cared most in the world.

Ming Yue smiled softly and nodded, "Thank you, Brother Mo."

Along with Yang Lixin, Ling Mao and the four beasts, Ming Yue left the assembly hall. Along the way, Ming Yue's eyes narrowed and coldness radiating from her body.

'You created this mess, I will make you pay for it!'
