In the Flynn residence, Yvette walked out of the bathroom after a shower. She was now Mrs. Flynn and was eager to move in high–society circles. Having sprayed some perlume, she opened the wardrobe and began to pick clothes. 

After what happened last time, she was mocked occasionally despite her identity as Mrs. Flynn. She was still angry once she thought of that day she was taken away by the police at the press conference. She kept comforting herself that she didn’t need to care about those insignificant people. 

She thought the most important thing now was to please Xavier and totally win his heart. 

She specially bought a dress when she was shopping just to give Xavier a surprise tonight. She’d thought that he would return to the bedroom to accompany her after finishing his work, but by now he hadn’t come back. She couldn’t wait to take out that dress. 

With her heart pounding with excitement, Yvette silently looked at the thin nightgown in her hands for a long time and tightened her grip. 

She’d never done such a thing before, but she decided to slog her guts out to capture Xavier’s heart. 

At the thought of this, Yvette gritted her teeth and stamped her feet, putting on the nightgown. Then she ran to the study and gingerly pushed the door open.
