Her expression became more and more grave. No matter how much she pressed or in what manner, Yonas stayed silent, his fists clenched so tightly that his knuckles turned white. 

Yasmine, almost frenzied, kept questioning him at his ear, asking the same things over and over. Finally, with their emotions running high, Yonas suddenly opened his eyes, bloodshot and wild. “There’s nothing!” he growled. 

Yasmine calmed down. Even though she didn’t get answers to her questions, she discovered something. Maybe she had known Yonas years ago, even before Xavier. But how did she forget all of this? “Yonas, did we know each other before?” she asked, her eyes unfocused. 

Yonas knew he hadn’t revealed the crucial clue. He didn’t answer her, just shook his head. 

“Yonas, why are you afraid to answer, me?” Yasmine was at a loss for how to ask her questions now. Perhaps everything she imagined was true, but Yonas didn’t want her to know. There was a big chance that beyond knowing about the amnesia, even greater secrets were being kept from her. 

Yasmine wanted to ask more, but Yonas suddenly stood up and made a quick exit as if he was escaping.

At the Russell residence, Yoselin was kept home by Nathan, and she looked gloomily at William and Nathan playing chess. She sat beside them, bored and dozing off. “Grandpa, I want to go out,” she said listlessly. 

Nathan, not paying attention, placed another piece. “William, you’re not very good at this. I’ve already taken so many of your pieces!” 

“Grandpa! Are you even listening to me?” Yoselin shouted. 

William glanced at Yoselin and chuckled, “Nathan, look at your granddaughter, she’s so bored. You should let her go out.” “No way. If she goes out, she’ll just get into trouble again. It’s hard enough getting her condition stable,” Nathan said, glancing at Yoselin. “Stay put here. If you really can’t sit still, go to the company with your brother in the morning. You’re not a kid anymore, it’s time to start learning about our family business.” 

“What?!” Yoselin’s eyes widened, suddenly alert. “Grandpa, no way!” She hated those company matters. She saw Yonas busy all the time, sometimes so overwhelmed he didn’t come home until three or four in the morning. She definitely didn’t want to join the company. 

William teased, “Rong, your grandfather is trying to groom you. 

“Grandpa, please tell Grandpa I’m not cut out for running the company,” she said pitifully. 

“If you don’t know how, just learn from Irene,” Nathan suggested 

Yoselin sighed, “Grandpa, you should be content. You’ve got a successful heir like Yonas, how could possibly manage the company?” 

“I know you’re not ready, but you can’t just sit around doing nothing. From tomorrow, start learning from Irene,” Nathan’s tone was firm and brooked no argument. 

Yoselin knew she couldn’t resist and reluctantly accepted it. All she could think about was Yasmine. She wanted to go find her sister Yasmine to hang out. Even though Yasmine was her therapist, it was hard to meet up with her, all because Grandpa Nathan wanted her and Yasmine to drift apart. 

The weather was still mild, and Yoselin got up early to go to the company with Irene. Once they arrived, Irene kindly said to her, “Yoselin, I know you don’t like managing company affairs, but your grandpa asked me to take you along. How about

Yoselin looked gratefully at Irene. “Irene, is that really okay?” 

“Of course,” replied Irene. 

“Irene, can I go out for a bit later? I promise I’ll be right back. You know Grandpa hasn’t let me leave the house these days, and I’m going stir–crazy,” Yoselin said, feeling aggrieved. 

Irene nodded, “Alright, but you have to remember to come back early.” 

“Okay! Thanks, Irene,” Yoselin replied. 

Half an hour later, Yoselin appeared at the entrance of the counseling office at Aurelith University. Coincidentally, Yasmine had no one there at the moment. Yoselin rushed to her side, “Yasmine, I haven’t seen you for so many days, I missed you. Did you miss me?” 

“Yoselin, of course, I missed you, but I hadn’t heard from you at all,” Yasmine said. 

Yoselin pouted, “Grandpa kept me locked up at home, so I couldn’t reach you.” 

Yasmine quickly had her sit down to talk and asked with concern, “How have you been lately? Any nightmares?” 

Yoselin shook her head, “I haven’t had nightmares these past few days, but I keep having weird dreams instead. 

“What kind?” 

“I always dream about us going to the amusement park, and then I see you with Yonas…” Yoselin blushed.
