Urena was momentarily taken aback, not expecting Carter to apologize so decisively. Her hand, holding the photo, trembled. slightly, and her expression turned complicated. Now, she seemed to lose her reason for making a scene. Her face turned pale, and she said. “You’re not the one who harmed my daughter it was Yasminel Why isn’t she here to apologize” 

“Ms. Sanchez has been suspended and is staying at home. We can’t confirm that Teresa’s death was caused by Ms. Sanchez. The current suspension is due to reporters blocking the school gates, and it’s merely to protect Ms. Sanchez, Winston explained. He said this to make sure there wouldn’t be any wild rumors spread by the reporters after they left. 

With the situation as it was, Carter’s apology had pushed Urena to the center of the storm. Urena hesitantly protested, “Yasmine caused my daughter’s demise, yet you still protect her like this! Do you think an apology can solve everything?” 

Winston looked at Urena with confusion. The photo reflected a different light under the sun. He asked with a complex expression. “The president is right in front of you, and all these media reporters can vouch for you. Just say whatever demands you have.”

Winston frowned slightly. “Urena, we understand your feelings and will offer some compensation for Teresa’s death, but 3 million is truly beyond our means.
