“Things have reached this point, there’s no reason to hide it anymore. Whose idea was it to hold a banner and carry a photo to the school gate? And whose idea was it to denuand 3 million?” Yasmine questioned directly, staring into Urena’s eyes. 

“I don’t understand what you’re saying. We’re just ordinary people, reporting to the police is the best resistance we could muster. But the police say it’s a suicide, I don’t believe it so I went to your school for an answer. As for the 3 million, not to mention, I think you owe me that compensation, Urena said, lowering her eyes. 

Yasmine didn’t believe a word of it. “The person who gave your son chocolate must be the same person who gave you those ideas, right?” 

Urena’s expression turned stern, and she decided not to answer any more of her questions. 

“Even if you don’t tell me, I can look it up. Do you know this brand of chocolate?” Yasmine pulled out the chocolate Timothy had just given her. “The only good thing about luxury items is that every piece can be traced. You probably don’t know, but this chocolate is extremely expensive, costing thousands for just one piece. Each one has a handwritten serial number, so you can track who bought each piece.” 

Velluto chocolates come from Preirie, and this brand is the most expensive chocolate in the world, having won various global awards. It’s hard to find even in Preirie, let alone here, and it’s a limited edition, making it rare and precious. Urena would just think it’s ordinary, but to Yasmine, it’s not 

Urena’s face had gone pale. She looked incredulously at the piece of chocolate, unable to believe why such an ordinary- looking thing could be worth their living expenses for several months. Why could some people just casually take out such expensive chocolate from their pocket to give away? People really are different. 

Urena gave a self–mocking smile, “So what? Just because of this? That doesn’t prove someone truly gave me advice, go ahead and check.” 

Yasmine kept a stern face, truly stubborn. “Madam Urena, I will come to you with evidence, just wait. I hope you can look at Teresa’s photo with a clear conscience.” 

Yasmine stormed off, not going home but straight to find Morgan. “Cousin, take a look at this.” She handed Morgan the chocolate. “Can you check who bought this piece?” 

Without Yasmine explaining further, Morgan already knew the chocolate had a serial number. He looked at Yasmine in confusion, “Why do you want to check this chocolate?“. 

“Before Teresa got into trouble, a woman came to Teresa’s home, took Teresa away, and then the incident happened. Before leaving, she gave Teresa’s brother some chocolate, and this is one of them, Yasmine explained gravely 

“You went to see Urena? Didn’t we agree to go together?” Morgan narrowed his eyes slightly, worried about his sister going alone to such a’dangerous place. 

Yasmine pouted playfully. “Morgan, I just couldn’t hold back. Look, I’m perfectly fine, aren’t I?” 

“You have no idea how scary people online can be right now; so many of them want to hurt you. There’s no way I can be af ease. Just go home and wait for news. I’ll take care of the investigation,” Morgan insisted. 

Yasmine looked at Morgan gratefully. Thanks, Morgan.” 

In a sealed room, Yasmine and Yoselin sat across from each other. A long table was between them, with a blank sheet of paper and a pen placed nearby. Yasmine gazed softly at Yoselin. Yoselin, relax. Imagine your most exciting moment and then draw that scene“.

Although Yoselin couldn’t find a way now, she remained constantly vigilant of the world. However, Yasmine could engage in simple interactions with him, like asking him to draw a picture. Yoselin gave Yasmine a bewildered glance and slowly picked up the pen from the table, starting to draw on the blank paper. She mused, <Most exciting moment? I could hardly remember my most exciting moment. It seemed to be not long ago when my brother found someone he truly liked.> 

It seemed Yoselin had always known her brother liked someone. She slowly drew a woman on the paper and wrote two words beside it: [Yonas’s love] 

Yasmine was stunned, not quite understanding why Yoselin wrote those two words. 

Yoselin’s drawing was a sketch. Every wealthy young girl was expected to dabble in various hobbies during their childhood, like painting or playing the piano. While Yoselin hadn’t received formal training, she could manage simple sketches. 

This particular piece depicted a woman who resembled her. At first, Yoselin felt it was her likeness. However, upon noticing a ring on the woman’s raised hand, she recalled the ring on Irene’s hand during that interview. 

Yasmine let out a bitter laugh. She thought, <So Yoselin’s sketch is of Irene. Her brother’s love… Could it be Irene too?> 

It seems like everything started to make sense from the moment the sketch came into play. Yasmine thought, <Why did Yonas ignore my affairs as soon as Irene appeared, regardless of whether it was a kidnapping situation or not? If Irene was in love with Yonas, then in Yoselin’s eyes, was it always about Irene being her brother’s love? And where does that leave me?> 

Yoselin remained wrapped in her blanket with a dazed expression. Yasmine had replaced the thick comforter with a blanket, hoping to give Yoselin a fleeting sense of safety, as this was the only way she could feel a moment of solace.
