Rebirth In Divorce: My New Mr. Perfect novel Chapter 28

Chapter 28
Sensing Yasmin’s emotions, Simon patted her shoulder gently. “It’s so good to have your back.”
Yasmine looked up and met Simon’s encouraging gaze, her nose slightly red from
sadness.
Simon withdrew his hand and glanced at the excited crowd and the shocked Helen.
With a smile, he explained, “Yasmine is definitely my student. Back then, we let her take an indefinite leave because we didn’t want to lose someone as brilliant as she is.
“While she was here, she not only finished her credits in record time, but she also worked with the police, m**l hospitals, and counselors, bringing a lot of valuable experience to the field of psychology.
“She’s just one step away from graduating, and she absolutely deserves to be a psychology teacher.”
His tone was filled with pride and confidence in Yasmine, and the crowd buzzed with curiosity and admiration.
But suddenly, Simon’s expression turned serious, his gaze landing on Helen. “I’ve recently heard about some nasty rumors being spread about our faculty online. As students, your focus should be on your studies, not on petty revenge or jealousy! The school will handle those who make mistakes according to our rules. I hope you all take this to heart!”
After finishing his speech, Simon gave Yasmine a reassuring look before walking away.
All eyes turned to Helen, who had earlier admitted in the cafeteria that she was the one who made the post. Simon’s words were clearly directed at her.
Helen couldn’t believe Yasmine was the legendary senior everyone talked about. As the crowd’s attention fell on her, her face flushed with embarrassment. Remembering Simon’s words made her feel both shocked and terrified, and she slipped away from the crowd quickly..
Once the commotion settled, many students surrounded Yasmine, eagerly asking questions. She simply smiled and soon left with Yosclin.
Yoselin linked her arm with Yasmine’s and beamed. “Yasmine, I can’t believe how
amazing you are. You’re like a legend at our school. Even the vice dean is on your side- he really put Helen in her place.”

“Mr. Chase didn’t mean that,” Yasmine chided gently. “I’m really not that impressive. The teachers just want to support their students.”
Yasmine couldn’t help but sigh, realizing that was why the teachers, including Simon, still welcomed her back even though she had put her dreams on hold for love.
Yoselin stopped and looked deeply into Yasmine’s eyes. “That’s because you’re genuinely special! We all like you and want to support you.”
Taken aback by Yoselin’s sincerity, Yasmine paused, then broke into a gentle smile. After leaving the cafeteria, they departed and Yasmine headed back to the psychology counseling center.
Soon after, the school announced disciplinary actions against Helen and Ximena. The posts on the forum were deleted completely, while a new thread popped up in the Psychology Department section, expressing admiration for the legendary senior- Yasmine.
By 4 PM, Yoselin’s class wrapped up, and Yasmine was finishing her work. Yoselin had come to wait for Yasmine so they could go home together. Not wanting to hold Yoselin up, Yasmine quickly tidied up, and they headed out.
Yoselin leaned in closer, lowering her voice and winking. “Yasmine, Yonas is coming to pick me up soon. How about we go grab some dinner together?”
Yasmine paused. The thought of the gentle yet a
