Yasmine felt something was off as she thought about the night’s events. First, her dress had been ruined, and then she found herself brought here. Without her saying much, Yonas had already sent someone to check the security cameras.

“I know. Don’t worry. I’ll find out who did this. Just go inside. It’s pretty cold out here,” he said, his voice steady.

Yasmine wrapped herself in his jacket, feeling his warmth seep into her. A spark of comfort lit up her heart. He always showed up when she felt the most lost, like a beam of sunlight breaking through the clouds. She leaned a little closer to him, seeking more

warmth.

Her heart raced as her thoughts shifted from fear to anger, mixed with the comfort that Yonas provided. “Thanks a lot. I owe you one, she said, a smile forming on her lips.

Yonas’s expression remained serious. “You’re my guest at this event. If something happens, it’s my responsibility. This isn’t a favor,” he replied, though there was a hint of irritation in his tone.

As they stepped back into the main hall, no one in the crowd seemed to know about what happened in the garden. But two people were watching them closely, their expressions filled with anxiety.

Since Yasmine had walked away, Helen had been pacing nervously near the door to the garden. When she finally saw a server come out alone and shut the door, a shiver of excitement and fear ran through her.

She could already picture what would happen next. If people found out, Yasmine would become the target of everyone’s scorn, and Yonas would definitely find out just how disgusting she was.

Yvette had been with Xavier, but she wasn’t really paying attention until she saw Yonas rushing toward the garden. That made it clear–something had gone wrong with her plan again.

‘Why can Yasmine always get away? Yvette thought to herself.

Just then, Helen hurried over, her face pale and frantic.

“Yvette! Yasmine is fine! Mr. Russell saved her again!” she exclaimed, out of breath.

Yvette took a deep breath, trying to stay calm despite her growing annoyance. “Don’t freak out. So what if he saved her? Just chill, or people will think you did something

wrong.”

“But what if they find out…?” Helen’s voice shook with worry.

“Relax. The server is gone now.” Yvette reassured her.

As Yoselin raced down the stairs, she wore a brand–new outfit that was even more delicate than her previous dress. She dashed up to Yasmine, her eyes shining with excitement. “Do you think this looks cute on me?”

“It looks amazing.” Yasmine said with a bright smile.

Then Yoselin noticed Yasmine’s arm. “What happened? Your arm is so red!” Concern filled her voice.

Yasmine shrugged, trying to downplay it. “Oh. I just bumped it. It’s nothing.”

“That’s not true. Was it Helen who did this? I’ll go get revenge!” Yoselin’s fists tightened, ready to confront Helen.

Yonas quickly stepped in, blocking her path. “Someone used my name to trick Yasmine into the garden. There are bad people who want to hurt her.”

“What?!” Yosclin’s eyes widened in shock.

This was a party hosted by the Russell family. Who would be bold enough to cause trouble, especially targeting Yasmine, Yonas’s partner?

Yoselin grabbed Yonas’s arm, frustration bubbling over. “Yonas, don’t let them get away!, If I’d just insisted that Yasmine come with me, none of this would’ve happened!”

Just then, the hotel manager approached Yonas with a worried look. “Mr. Russell, I checked the security footage. The server locked the door and then left the hotel. I talked to security and tried to reach him, but his phone was off, and no one was at the address he left.

Yonas’s face turned serious. “What about the people he interacted with?”
