Rebirth In Divorce: My New Mr. Perfect novel Chapter 61

Chapter 61
Yasmine was deep in her work when the door to her room was thrown open. “Yasmine, why did
you
do this?”
Helen’s furious face filled the doorway, and she shoved her phone screen right in front of Yasmine’s face.
Yasmine shot her a cold glance. “I’m working right now!”
The student she was counseling jumped up in startled surprise. “Uh, I’ll come back another time, Ms. Sanchez.”
Once it was just the two of them, Helen gritted her teeth. “I already apologized at the banquet yesterday! Why did you post all that on the forum? Yasmine, you’re such a petty person!”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Yasmine said, uninterested, returning her focus to her work.
Helen’s face turned red, and her voice grew anxious. “Stop playing dumb! Nobody else knows about what happened at the banquet. The only one who could’ve posted this is you!”
Yasmine glanced at Helen’s phone screen and finally understood what she was referring to. “I have no idea what happened; it’s not my business. Before you storm in here shouting accusations, why don’t you find some proof that I did it? Now, please leave. This is a counseling room, not a place for you to throw a tantrum.”
“Admit it. You’re just doing this to get back at Xavier. Let me tell you, he will were shaking in anger.
Il never like a woman like you!” Helen’s shoulders
Yasmine stood up, her eyes icy. “Helen, your brother and I have no connection. Don’t forget, I still have that video. Now get
out.”
“Delete that post right now, or I won’t leave!” Helen’s eyes were bloodshot, and she sat down defiantly.
I did it! I’m the one who posted it!” Yoselin’s clear voice echoed as she rushed in, papers in hand, Yasmine turned to her, puzzled. “Yoselin?”
up to Helen. “It wasn’t Yasmine. I’m the one who posted it. You think you can just walk Yoselin marched something wrong? That’s not how the world works! I want everyone to know about your misdeeds!”

Helen’s hands trembled with rage. She was most afraid of Yoselin. It seemed everyone was trying to protect Yasmine, including Yoselin and Yonas.
don’t get out now, I’ll call security. Making a scene in a consultation room could get you kicked out of Aurelith University,” Yoselin puffed up.
“If you
Helen shot Yasmine a swift glare before storming off. As soon as she left, Yoselin turned to Yasmine with a worried expression. “Yasmine, did she bully you?”
Yasmine playfully pinched Yoselin’s cheek, not applying much pressure, but it still made her face blush slightly. “Did you
post it?”
Yoselin touched her cheek, stomping her foot in frustration. “She’s been talking nonsense on the forum every day! It’s about time she feels what it’s like to be roasted!”
Yasmine chuckled softly, “You did great.”
Yasmine, did the project proposal get approved?” asked Yoselin.
It should have been submitted early that morning. The leaders are taking this competition seriously, so it shouldn’t take long for them to respond.

“Yeah, it got approved. But we’ll need the Event Department to help secure sponsors this time,” said Yasmine.

In previous years, the Flynn family had supported the sponsorship, but this year, there was no way the Flynns would back it after everything that happened.
Yasmine, I must have contributed a lot, right?” Yoselin’s eyes sparkled with excitement
“Absolutely, it wouldn’t have been the same without your help.
“Then tonight, you have to treat me to dinner.” Yoselin wrapped her arms around Yasmine’s, shaking her playfully.
Thinking about how the project got approved, Yasmine agreed, “Alright, I will treat you to dinner.”
“Yay!”
As Yoselin stepped out of the consultation room, she immediately made a phone call. “Hey, Yonas, come pick me up after school. I want you to have dinner with me.”
“What? A meeting? No way! You have to come get me, or you’ll regret it.” Hearing Y**s’s reluctant agreement made Yoselin beam triumphantly.
At Aurelith University’s gate, a sleek black Cayenne was parked out front, catching the attention of several students as they
left class.
Yoselin tugged Yasmine around, searching for someone. “There! She squealed, darting over.
Yasmine felt a jolt of surprise when she saw who Yoselin was calling over-Yonas.
Yonas noticed Yasmine right away, but before he could say hi, Yoselin dashed toward him and whispered, ‘I got her out. You better impress her.”
With a bright smile, she waved at Yasmine. “Yasmine, come here
Yasmine approached and greeted, “Mr. Russell, I didn’t know Yoselin called for you.”
“Are you unhappy to see me, Yasmine?” asked Yonas
“Of course not, Yasmine replied with a warm laugh.
Yonas raised an eyebrow, teasing, “So, you must be happy to see me then?”
Yoselin skillfully opened the passenger door. “Yasmine, I want to lie in the back seat today, so you sit in front.”
Yasmine quickly slid into the front seat, deftly avoiding the question.
At the gate, Helen and Ximena had just stepped out when Ximena pointed and said, “Isn’t that Yoselin and Yasmine over there? And there’s a guy.
Helen frowned as she glanced over, her mood darkening. She saw the three of them getting into a car, and she stomped her foot in frustration. It was bad enough they were glued to each other at the banquet yesterday, but now Yonas was coming to pick up Yasmine.
Yasmine really knows how to attract men. They should just rename that psychology class to ‘How to H** Up with Guys!” Helen muttered. Ximena didn’t dare say anything.
In the car, Yoselin leaned over to Yasmine, a mischievous glint in her eye. “Yasmine, I called my brother here today just to get him to treat us! We’re going to the Paragon!”
“Yasmine, did you hear that? She hasn’t forgotten the last time I made you pay, so you better not steal my chance this time.

Yasmine couldn’t help but chuckle. “Alright.”

When Chuck spotted the three of them, his eyes nearly popped out of his head. The last time Yasmine treated, it ended up costing over fifty thousand dollars. And now, here they were again for more!
He shot Yonas several side glances, thinking. “Unbelievable, just like last time!’ Chuck **s*n*d the menu and began flipping through it with an exaggerated sigh.
But Yoselin chimed in. This time, it’s donas that’s treating.”
Chuck’s eyes lit up like fireworks. He flipped to the last page of the menu with enthusiasm, “Ms. Sanchez, I highly recommend the blue prawns. We make it like nobody else! You guys are in for a treat-the batch that just arrived this morning is limited-only four servings available!”
Chuck shot Yonas pleading looks, silently urging him to order, thinking he could make Yonas pay a large sum as well.
“And I think this soup looks fantastic too. And the beef,” he added.
Listening to Chuck’s increasingly frantic recommendations, Yasmine suggested, “How about we stick to the few dishes we had last time?”
Chuck shot a fierce glare at Yonas, almost wishing he could shoot laser beams from his eyes.
Yonas shrugged, “Yasmine, don’t worry about it. Just order whatever you want.”
