In tears, she held Yasmine’s arm tightly, as if it were the only way she could feel secure.
Yasmine let Yoselin hold her without resistance but couldn’t help wondering what had happened to Yoselin to make her so
insecure.
“I’m here. Don’t be afraid. I’m here with you,” Yasmine said softly.
Yoselin gradually calmed down, still clinging to Yasmine’s arm, and started to look around in fear.
Lena sipped her coffee and checked the time. “Ms. Sanchez, it’s getting late. Let me take you home.”
“Okay, thank you, Yasmine said and got into Lena’s car with Yoselin. They soon arrived at Yasmine’s apartment building. Before leaving. Lena said. “Ms. Sanchez, a senior of mine who is at the same university as I am will be returning to the country soon. He’s a more experienced psychologist than I am. At Aurelith University, Xavier left the principal’s office with a dark expression. He had said everything he could, but the principal wouldn’t budge, not even when he mentioned that their family was on the school’s board of directors.
He thought, It’s clear that the Russell family is determined not to relent. There is nothing I can do, I’ve done everything need to do.

Xavier got into his car, pulled out his phone, and found Yasmine’s number. His finger hovered over the call button, but he didn’t press it.
His phone suddenly vibrated violently, making his heart **p a beat. It was a call from his mother. He pinched the bridge of his nose, already knowing what she was going to say-she would urge him to hurry and get Helen out.
