Inside, Daniel was busy with some documents. Sitting on the sofa was a young man with a fresh, clean look, his posture stiff and proper, 

When Olivia entered, the boy immediately stood up, bowing deeply at a 90–degree angle. 

Olivia was momentarily stunned. 

Daniel glanced at her. “This is Jared. Starting today, lie your new agent.” 

Jared looked at Olivia with a mix of shyness and nervousness. 

“Ms. Carter, please take care of me from now on!” he said earnestly. 

Olivia was surprised. 

In her previous life, her agent had been switched about a year later, and it hadn’t been Jared. Watching him blush just from speaking, she found it hard not to laugh. 

Daniel didn’t seem to want to talk much. After a brief explanation, he dismissed Olivia and Jared, saying he was busy. 

Once they left, Daniel made a phone call.

After hanging up. Daniel leaned back in his chair, glancing at Olivia’s contract. A sinister look flashed in his

“Olivia, you’ve just been dealt a bad hand.”

Jared sat across from her, visibly nervous. He kept stealing glances at Olivia, trying to gauge her mood. 

The news that he’d been promoted to agent and assigned to Olivia had come as a shock. He’d spent the entire previous night researching everything about her. 

Even as a newbie, Jared quickly realized Olivia’s position in the entertainment industry was near rock- bottom, and her previous works had been, well, embarrassing.
