"You're still awake?" Gavin's voice came through the phone, smooth and captivating. It was the kind of voice that could melt hearts.

"Yeah," Yolanda replied coolly. As she spoke, her other hand continued clicking through various web pages with the mouse.

"I just discovered that the people who came after you before and the ones who planned my plane crash might be from the same organization."

As she spoke, she encrypted the clues she had found and sent them to Gavin via email. "Check your email."

"Got it." There was a brief silence on Gavin's end before he spoke again. "What have you found so far?"

"Have you heard of 'Troy'?"

Gavin raised a brow on the other end. "That new assassin organization?"

"Yeah," Yolanda responded calmly. "They've been expanding their influence, even infiltrating all of East Agralia.

"I suspect both incidents are tied to them. They're plotting something bigger, a cross-world conspiracy, and killing you and me was just their first step. The next target could very well be the Xenith Order.

"I can't tell yet if Nydia is a part of their plan or if she just saw this as an opportunity to replace me, but I just emailed my brother, Rowan, asking him to publicly announce that Yulia Hoffman is still alive.

"If they truly want 'Yulia Hoffman' dead, they'll try again, and it'll be a more calculated strike."

After Yolanda finished explaining her plan, Gavin finally asked, "Does the Hoffman family know about you?"

"Only Rowan knows, and I told him to keep it quiet for now."
