"The assassins Zach brought back have already died from poisoning—too bad they didn't even get to be interrogated. They all showed symptoms around the same time," Gavin remarked.
"Just like last time," Yolanda said as she finished drying her hair and lay down on the bed.
"By the way, Zach invited me to check out a private clinic tomorrow. Are you interested in coming along?"
"Tomorrow?" Gavin paused for a moment before replying, "I'll be at Savage Group, but I'll have time in the afternoon. How about I pick you up after you're done, and we can catch a movie together?"
"Sounds good! It's been ages since we watched a movie together."
"Get some rest then. See you tomorrow."
After exchanging goodnights with Gavin, Yolanda looked down at her stomach.
She was no longer as heavy as when she first reincarnated; her weight had returned to normal. Now, at 116 pounds and standing 5 foot 6 inches, she was quite slender.
However, she had disguised her appearance slightly to still look as if she were the same weight as before.
The speed of her weight loss had been astonishing—nearly 110 pounds in less than a month since her release from the juvenile facility. That was certainly abnormal for an ordinary person.
While few would believe in reincarnation, Yolanda knew she had to stay low-key, especially since her new appearance resembled her old one quite closely.
She could easily pass for her former self with some makeup applied.
In contrast, her twin sister Yvonne only resembled her to a lesser degree, and the previous incarnation of Yolanda was unrecognizable by comparison.
Yolanda had never understood why she had reincarnated or why it had happened in the body of someone unrelated to her past life.
Now, she realized that everything might have been predestined.
