"Think whatever you want," Gregory sneered at Yolanda.
"Either way, this deal is happening whether you like it or not! Otherwise, you can forget about keeping this rundown clinic open!"
Before he could finish, one of the thugs behind him slammed his hand down on the counter.
"You better listen to Greg. Otherwise, we'll make sure you regret it!" he growled. "Don't think just because you're a woman that I won't lay a hand on you! We'll trash this place and break your legs if that's what it takes!"
"Oh, so you guys are working with the underworld now?" Yolanda asked, eyeing the thugs with a cold smile.
She originally thought her life after being reborn would be boring, but now it seemed like every day offered a new target to test her skills on. She found it amusing.
"And what are you going to do about it?" Gregory smirked, looking down at her as if nothing could touch him.
"Hurry up and sign the contract. I don't have time to waste here," he said arrogantly while slamming a contract on the counter.
"And don't forget the deposit—one million dollars, not a penny less!" Gregory looked at Yolanda smugly, confident she'd sign the contract like a scared lamb.
Yolanda gave Gregory a calm glance, picked up the contract without hesitation, and tore it in half.
"The door's that way," she said, making it very clear they were no longer welcome.
"You dare tear up the contract?" Gregory's expression darkened, and his voice turned cold. "Do you have any idea what happens when you make me angry?"
"I don't know, and I'm not interested," Yolanda replied calmly. "Don't get in the way of our work."
