Jeremy reassured Yolanda rather guiltily, "But don't worry, I'll explain things to him later."
"It's alright." Yolanda took a sip of juice. "Although I'm a doctor, I can't force a patient to seek treatment from me."
"Ms. Henderson, you're such a forgiving person," Cianna remarked. "My husband and I had our doubts about you before, yet you still helped him without holding a grudge."
Jeremy was trying to not further embarrass Jude. "If Mr. Kaufman needs help in the future, I hope you will help him, Ms. Henderson."
Yolanda glanced at Jeremy and guessed that he was indeed choosing his words carefully.
"Of course," she replied. "I wouldn't just stand by if someone needs my help."
"That's great! Ms. Henderson, let me toast to you and Mr. Savage once again!"
…
The meal lasted almost two hours. During that time, Cianna discussed upcoming plans for Cinnamine Pharmaceuticals with Yolanda, while Jeremy continuously found topics to discuss with Gavin regarding business trends.
No matter what Jeremy asked, Gavin responded fluently, which made Jeremy see him in a new light. Gavin's analysis of Riverdale City's business landscape didn't resemble that of a student who hadn't yet graduated; instead, he seemed like a seasoned business professional.
It became clear that while Gavin hadn't been very active in public in recent years, he had been involved in the Savage family's projects.
After dinner, Jeremy, who wanted to talk more with Gavin, refrained from suggesting they go to a nightclub since both Gavin and Yolanda were still students. He reluctantly bid them farewell.
