"I was distracted because she kept boosting the other people's morale. If it weren't for her, I wouldn't have lost," Jimmy whined.
Jimmy had lost Brigham with his train of thought. He stared at Jimmy blankly without any response for a long while.
"That's right!"
"It's all her fault!"
"She's dragging all of us down!"
"You knew that Black Widow was no easy opponent, so why didn't you stop us? Are you just going to comfortably watch as we march to our deaths?"
"That's right! If you stopped us, we wouldn't get injured at all."
Everyone was staring in awe at the ability of Jimmy's clan members to twist the truth as they poured all the blame and pointed all their fingers at Yolanda.
Yolanda didn't even bother responding to shameless people like them.
It wasn't beneficial to try to talk sense into humans who did not think like normal humans. All it would do was invoke rage.
There was chaos in that little storage room at that moment.
"Shut up!" Nigel roared coldly.
"Are you not ashamed for blaming a little girl for your lack of skills?" Nigel could not take it anymore.
"Looks like the Eternal Clan doesn't have any successors. I wonder what your master, Xavier, would say when he sees how irresponsible all of you are."
Jimmy and the other Eternal Clan members were offended by Nigel's words. Still, because of Nigel's social status, they didn't dare to refute them other than portraying their displeasure through their eyes.
"We can't hold the door any longer, Grandpa!" Brigham exclaimed suddenly.
There were loud banging noises on the other side of the door. Instantly, the storage room door, which was thinner than usual to begin with, was kicked open from the outside.
The Hansens all had a sense of hopelessness on their faces. The Eternal Clan members who had been so self-righteously accusing Yolanda now had ashen faces that were palpable with fear.
"Stop hiding. Come out and die!"
