"We will thoroughly investigate whether there's a connection!" Yehuda shot a stern look at Yvonne.
As Yvonne eagerly waited for Yehuda to take Yolanda away, his phone suddenly rang.
Yehuda pulled out his phone, unlocked it, and held it to his ear. After a long pause, he put the phone down and addressed everyone in the living room.
"Sorry, we made a mistake. The contract between Henderson Group and Dunhill Group is completely legal," he said.
"What did you say?"
Everyone in the room, except Yolanda, was stunned.
These officers had just been threatening to arrest someone, and now they casually claimed it was all a misunderstanding.
"Officer Pace, this is ridiculous!" Diana complained, but Harold immediately chastised her.
"Shut up! Is this situation not messy enough?" he shouted.
"We only came here after receiving a tip-off, and it turns out it was from the Cantu family." Yehuda maintained a businesslike tone as he spoke.
Yehuda continued, "Unless you're implying that the Henderson family wants to confess and prove the bribery is real?"
"Absolutely not!" Diana shook her head vigorously. "We are law-abiding citizens and would never engage in bribery!"
"That's good to hear. If there's nothing else, we'll take our leave." After Yehuda finished speaking, he and his colleagues walked toward the door.
Diana and Harold naturally followed them outside to see them off.
