"Let's not talk about this for now. Where are we going for dinner tonight?"
Yolanda didn't want to say anything more to Winnie. Winnie treated her and Yvonne the same way. Even if Yolanda were to tell her the truth, Winnie might not believe her.
Also, Yolanda didn't have evidence that Yvonne was the one who had framed her. If she were to just say things out deliberately like this, she would only bring trouble to herself.
"I'll treat you to a steak dinner."
Winnie thought that Yolanda didn't want to reminisce about the unpleasant past, so she changed the topic of conversation as well.
"It's just Westorian cuisine. It's not like we can't afford it.
Eleanor and Bailee's smugness and arrogance were really unpleasant. Even someone with a good temperament like Winnie also could not help but rant about it to Yolanda.
"Aunt Eleanor and Bailee were too unrealistic with their ideals. I hope they've learned their lessons this time."
Suddenly, Yolanda's phone rang.
Yolanda took out her phone to see Diana calling her.
"Where are you right now, Yolanda? Come home quickly for dinner."
The moment Yolanda answered the call, Diana immediately started ordering her around.
"I'm not coming home for dinner tonight."
Diana didn't usually ask Yolanda if she was coming home for dinner. Yolanda had no idea what had gotten into Diana today.
Also, Diana was still upset about Yolanda saying no to her setting Yolanda up. She should still be upset enough lately to ignore Yolanda.
"No. You have to come home tonight. Don't you know what today is?"
Diana's voice boomed through the phone so loudly that Winnie, who was beside Yolanda heard what Diana said. Winnie gestured for Yolanda to pass her phone to her.
