"How could you say such nasty things?" Winnie widened her eyes in disbelief. Yolanda's cousin has a personality even worse than Bailee's.
"Ignore him," Yolanda said as she tugged on Winnie's sleeve. "The more you yell at people like this, the happier you'll make them."
"What the fuck are you saying, trash? Say it again, I dare you."
Paul's eyes bulged out even more as he glared at Yolanda. He shot up from the couch, pointed at Yolanda, and barked, "Just because this is your house it doesn't mean I can't teach you a lesson!"
"Wow, you actually knew that this was her house," Winnie retorted coldly in return. "Those who didn't know it would think that you own this place."
"What's the commotion about? What happened?"
At that moment, Diana and Alice came downstairs.
"Long time no see, Winnie. Are your parents well?"
Diana was very happy to see someone from her maiden family. She didn't like Alice to begin with, so she briskly left her and walked to Winnie.
"The last time I saw you was at the beginning of the year. It's only been two months and you've slimmed down!"
"I've been trying to lose some pounds, Aunt Diana." Winnie smiled as she placed the fruit basket in her hand.
"My parents are well, thank you for asking about them, Aunt Diana!"
"That's good to hear."
Diana glanced at Yolanda and for once, she didn't yell at her in front of everybody.
