Before Raven could touch Yolanda, her wrist was caught in mid-air.
"You!" Raven was shocked by Yolanda's strength. She tried to pull away, but Yolanda would not budge. The next thing she knew, Yolanda released her hand only to slap Raven and send her flying.
Raven let out a cry of pain as she hit the ground. But she quickly scrambled back to her feet and charged at Yolanda again. "How dare you hit me?! You're asking for death!"
With a furious face, she radiated hostility. "I won't let you off even if you hand over the Ice Lily now. Get on your knees and beg for forgiveness. Don't even think about getting up till I say so, or I'll tear Willow Creek Clinic apart and make sure you never open for business again!"
The Eternal Clan members behind her grew angry too. They brandished their weapons to intimidate Yolanda.
"Apologize?" Yolanda asked. "You're the ones who came to the clinic and are causing us trouble, yet you're asking me to apologize? That's now how things work!
"But since you're just trying to help your father, I'll let that slap settle our score. You're not getting the Ice Lily today, and I won't be treating your father. You'd better be smart about this!"
Usually, Yolanda would not have let them off so easily, but the clinic was packed with patients today. She had to prioritize their treatment and prescriptions, so she had no time to waste on those people.
"Be smart about this?" Raven laughed bitterly. "Who do you think you are? And you expect me to believe you can fix my father's legs? We've been to every hospital in Riverdale, and even the specialists said it was hopeless. You're barely twenty, yet you're saying such ridiculous things!
