Upon seeing Yolanda come in, Diana immediately scolded her with a stern face, "Why are you home late?"
Somehow, whenever Diana had a slightly better impression of Yolanda, thinking she might not be such an embarrassment, Yolanda always managed to make her doubt again.
As soon as school was over, Yvonne went straight to her room to study. Yolanda, on the other hand, came home late into the night, causing Diana's impression of Yolanda to fall again. A daughter who only brought her shame had no value to her.
"You should learn from your sister. She goes straight home after school to do her homework. As the older sister, you should be setting a good example for her, not running around and fooling around all day! I'm embarrassed for you!"
"I had something to do at school."
Since Yolanda decided to help the original Yolanda reclaim everything, her attitude toward Diana had softened. Even though Diana was still unfairly accusing her, Yolanda offered a reasonable explanation.
Although Diana didn't believe her, she calmed down slightly.
"What did you have to do on the first day of school?"
However, she didn't linger much on this issue and asked what she was most concerned about.
"By the way, what class are you in?"
Diana knew that students at the First Academy were ranked based on their performance. The higher the rank, the better the grades and the brighter the future.
She had hoped Yolanda would be placed in Class Seven, taught by Philip. Although Class Seven was ranked relatively low, it was not at the very bottom.
Moreover, since Philip was family, he would still take care of her for Vivian's sake, even if he had reservations about Yolanda.
However, Diana felt it would be a stretch for Yolanda to make it into Class Seven. She would probably end up in the very last class.
Diana didn't have any expectations. She asked for the sake of asking.
