Chapter 130
Natalie let out a frustrated laugh. She hadn’t expected them to use such a trick, and now she was feeling the effects of the drugs, her body weak and unable to run.
“Murray, you can’t even stand up. Do you think I can run?”
Murray looked at her with a half–smile. “Natalie, looks like we’ll be on this road to the afterlife together.”
Natalie was speechless. She didn’t need any company. And she certainly couldn’t die.
“Murray, dying is painful. Last time, you met a terrible end, with your arms and legs all chopped off,” Natalie looked at him with pity.
Murray felt a chill in his heart, somehow convinced she was telling the truth.
Seeing her unwilling expression, Murray’s eyes held a hint of melancholy and a dash of roguish charm. “Natalie, don’t you want to be with me? With a face this handsome, I’m one of a kind, you know.”
Natalie glanced at him. “Sorry, I chose to stay alive,” She still had revenge to take. She couldn’t die just yet.
Murray’s lips curled into a wild, mischievous, and sexy smile.
“Damn! You two are staring death in the face and chatting? You guys, get them out of here. Take them out the back, load them into the car, and head straight to the mountains.
“As for this girl, the boss said to treat her well. Make sure you find a few strong men to keep her company.”
Murray curled his lips crudely, ruining his usual handsome aura. His deep, dark eyes lost their usual playfulness and shot a cold glance at the man.
Natalie’s eyes shone with a cold light. It was the same old trick, but hardest on women.
The two were dragged away in a pitiful state.
Murray, however, wasn’t in a hurry. A devilish, carefree smile appeared on his charming face. Looking at the silent Natalie, he said, “Hey, Natalie, do you think this will bring us closer?”
Natalie chuckled in annoyance. “You think this is romantic?”
“Aren’t we in a pretty romantic situation now?”
“Get in the car. Romantic? How about you two enjoy your romance on your journey to the underworld,” The man rudely shoved Murray into the car.
Murray, exhausted, lay awkwardly on the seat, his tall frame sprawled out. Natalie, also out of strength, was thrown directly onto him.
A faint fresh scent drifted over, and Murray’s gaze became even more intense. He stared deeply at Natalie’s stunning face, but her eyes were filled with intense disgust.
Looking at the man who had pushed her, Natalie was fierce and full of determination.
Then several men got into the van.
They didn’t care about the positions Murray and Natalie were in.
The exhausted pair remained just as they were before. Natalie was half–lying in Murray’s arms. Murray’s hand was around

her waist, and she held onto him, but had no strength.
Yet her faint, elusive fragrance intrigued him, his eyes intense and deep.
After the van drove off.
Luna started the car and followed. Just then, the car door opened and Easton and Xavier quickly got inside. Easton looked at Luna. “Let’s go.”
Luna coldly said, “Get out. Ms. Shawn doesn’t want to see you.”
Xavier wanted to explain, but Easton spoke first, “I told you to drive. Follow them now,” His tone was strong, with a cold edge to his voice.
Luna didn’t have time to argue with him. She started driving, tailing the van in front. The car was driven from the branch.
Luna’s driving was steady, always keeping a consistent pace as she stayed close behind Natalie’s car. She also called the police, gave them her contact information, and sent her location to them.
Xavier watched Luna drive. She was slender and beautiful, but very aloof. Xavier wondered how much courage it would take to warm up such a cold girl.
The lights around her flickered, making her delicate face seem even more unapproachable. Easton’s eyes were fixed on the car ahead, radiating such a fierce intensity that it could make anyone’s skin crawl.
Luna sensed it, finding it ironic and amusing. “Is Mr. Garcia here to watch our Ms. Shawn embarrass herself?”
Easton frowned at her comment. “What do you mean by that?”
Luna scoffed. “Haven’t I made myself clear? Isn’t this kind of nasty tactic something you and the Simpson family enjoy using?”
Xavier quickly explained, “Luna, don’t misunderstand. Today’s events have nothing to do with Mr. Garcia. We’re here to handle the bar issue.”
“Hmph! Without Easton’s indulgence and the heartless Simpsons, would Ms. Shawn have been hurt?
“You gave her the cold shoulder. The Simpsons looked down on her. She was so exceptional. For the sake of so–called love and family ties, she nearly wore herself out.
“Easton, two years ago when you lost your sight, Natalie personally went to the highest mountain to pick herbs for you. On those steep cliffs, she risked her life to collect the best herbs, and she barely escaped from being bitten by poisonous snakes.
“Did you think your eyes could be healed after such a serious injury? No. The doctors had already given you a grim diagnosis!
