The receptionist’s weak expression turned into one of sheer terror. “I… it’s them…” She thought, ‘Damn it, why did she have to record the video? I’m in no position to argue now! 

Xavier stepped forward, his expression very serious. “Get to the IR department, get your pay, and get out.” 

The receptionist said, “No, no, no, Ms. Simpson, please save met don’t want to leave. You told me you’re Mr. Garcia’s wife and that you could block anyone coming to see him. You said you would take full responsibility.” 

Jennifer thought, ‘How dare that damn woman betray me. 

She said, “Easton, I never said that, but you did promise me I could come and go freely. She’s trying to frame me just to stay here; it’s just despicable.” 

Easton didn’t even look at her. 

Xavier waved his hand, calling over the bodyguard to lift the receptionist. He said, “Apologize to Ms. Shawn, and remember, there’s a reason for everything; find out who made do this.”

The receptionist looked ashen, glancing at Natalie, and bowed her head to apologize. “I’m sorry, Ms. Shawn! It was my fault; I won’t dare again. Please let me off this time.” 

Natalie smiled indifferently at her. “Being used as a pawn was your choice. You definitely provoked me. I’m not like those people behind you who just pass the blame. I won’t accept your apology. Now, get lost.” 

“Ah…” The receptionist panicked; the Garcia Group had the best benefits in all of Shagrity. She thought, ‘I still have a mortgage to pay; I can’t be without a job.‘ 

She bowed further down to beg Natalie, crying, “Ms. Shawn, I’m really sorry. I spoke out of turn. Please, I beg you to let me off this once.” 

Natalie looked down at her from above. “I’m not magnanimous. I hold grudges and repay every slight. Whoever made you do this, you can go find them. If you’re lacking in intelligence, don’t come to me; I’m not responsible for raising your IQ!” 

Xavier waved his hand again, signaling the bodyguards to take her away. 

Jennifer stomped her foot in anger. “Natalie, you’re being too heartless! She’s begging you already!” 

Natalie sneered. “You’re kind; you’re good. So why don’t you save her? Why wait until after the fact to play Monday morning quarterback? Didn’t you brush your teeth this morning? Your mouth stinks!” 

“You… Natalie, you’re simply unreasonable!” Jennifer was furious, thinking, ‘How did Natalie become so sharp–tongued?‘ 

“What do you mean by unreasonable? Isn’t it you who’s unreasonable? You made a deal with the receptionist and deliberately made things difficult for me; are you being reasonable?” Natalie’s cold voice had a piercing quality. 

Jennifer said, “Easton, look at him…” 

“Get lost! If you want to be provocative, wait until I leave. It’s disgusting to watch.” Natalie angrily interrupted her. Next, she was going to deal with Isabelle. 

Jennifer’s eyes widened in shock; Natalie’s words were blatant humiliation. 

Before she could say anything, Natalie continued. “Easton, I came to find your design director, Isabelle. The new product you released this morning was based on designs Jason secretly took from my office half a month ago.” 

She added. “I still have the torn–up draft there. You stole my new product design, and I can’t pursue legal action against you.

But I will not let Isabelle go. You can either have her come down or I can beat her up, or I can call the police.” 

She had plenty of ways to prove the designs were hers. Her anger had reached its peak. Ever since her transmigration, she had never held back. She thought, I’ll strike if necessary. Otherwise, they’ll think I’m easy to bully. 

Easton frowned. “Are you saying the design was yours?” 

Jennifer jumped in. “Natalie, you can’t even draw a design, yet you’re claiming others are plagiarizing you. How shameless are you? Isabelle is the best designer at your company.”

She added. “Why would she need to steal from you? What achievements do you have? Have you won any design awards? Are you really claiming Ms. Marshall copied your work?” Jennifer was so angry, she laughed. 

Natalie laughed too; she walked over and grabbed Jennifer’s hair 

“Ah… Natalie, what are you doing? Let me go!” Jennifer screamed in pain. 

Natalie sneered. “Jennifer, from today on, I’m going to do the things you falsely accused me of. Remember this scene? You knew Easton was coming and purposely messed up your hair, claiming I pulled your hair.” 

She added. “When I did pull your hair, you should have screamed like a madwoman, not cried and whined like someone whose father just died.” 

Xavier was speechless. 

Natalie’s cold, red eyes fixed on the unmoving Easton. “Get Isabelle down here, or nobody will have it easy.” 

Easton instructed Xavier to call Isabelle to come down. 

Xavier quickly made the call. 

Jennifer was at a loss for words, thinking, ‘Why won’t Natalie let this go?‘ She said, “Natalie, let me go.” 

Natalie pulled her hair tightly, spinning her around three times before slamming her into Easton’s arms. 

“Wah… Easton…” Jennifer cried.
