Selena smiled sweetly, with a hint of happiness on her face. She hadn't had a nightmare in a long time. Osvaldo had really taken good care of her.
Leia saw the sweet smile on her mistress's face and her own eyes curved upwards, stepping on the accelerator to speed up. Thirty minutes later, the car stopped outside the Turner family's gate.
Patrick was standing outside the gate and led Selena inside. Oscar was sitting alone in the hall, with no one else around. Leia knew that the Turner family had something to discuss with Selena and greeted her before leaving.
Oscar's gaze fell on Selena's face, and he suddenly spoke, "Patrick, go see how Tom and the others are doing."
He wanted to send Patrick away. Patrick frowned, "Father..."
Selena laughed, "Cousin, you go do your thing. I'll talk to Uncle."
Patrick looked at his father and then his sister, reminding Selena, "Stay for dinner tonight."
After Selena nodded, Patrick turned and left.
Only Oscar and Selena remained in the hall. Selena sat across from Oscar.
Oscar looked at the girl in front of him, with beautiful eyes and delicate features, graceful and noble in every movement. She seemed like a harmless girl, but when he thought of what she had done after joining Capital, no one could underestimate her ability. She was not someone that an ordinary family could cultivate.
Oscar spoke softly, "Don't be nervous. I just want to ask you some questions."
He had noticed that Selena was always tense in front of him, which was something she never showed in front of others. If it was just because of guilt, it wouldn't be enough to explain it. After all, Patrick was also a member of the Turner family, and Selena's emotions were normal in front of him. If he had to describe it, it was probably like wolf cub facing a big wolf, with a mixture of tension, alertness, excitement, and eagerness.
A thought flashed through Oscar's mind.
Selena's expression was calm, and she knew what Oscar was going to ask must be related to her real family. Sure enough, Oscar's next sentence was, "Do you have any other siblings?"
Selena whispered, "No, I am an only child."
Oscar's eyes flashed with something, "Are your parents treating you well?"
Selena caught the momentary strange emotion of the other party and pursed her lips, "Very well, they love me."
Oscar lowered his eyelids, "I see..."
Selena asked back, "Why do you ask? In your mind, shouldn't my parents be treating me poorly?"
Oscar raised his eyelids and stared at Selena's eyes with a cold light, "Has anyone ever told you that you look a lot like my younger brother?"
Selena suddenly startled, "Yes."
Many people who had met Callum had commented that she not only looked like Callum but also Lady Nevaeh.
As the commander had a habit of indulging in fantasies, Selena felt that Oscar had probably misunderstood something and smiled, "If I tell you that I look exactly like Selena, would you suspect that I have any real connection to the Turner family?"
Oscar was slightly shocked.
Selena's slender fingers gently slid over her eyes, "Selena and I really look exactly the same, not just our faces but also our names."
"Except... I'm one year younger than her."
Oscar stared at her intently.
Selena lowered her hand, "But I can tell you with certainty that this is just a coincidence."
Her family would never make a mistake with bloodlines.
No one would allow such a mistake to happen!
"I have all of Selena's memories," Selena continued, "Lady Nevaeh has been by her side since she was a child, and my mother has been by my side since I was a child."
