Chapter 65
They turned their heads to see a figure slowly walking out from behind a pillar, his eyes raking heavily over each face, finally landing on a few boys with extreme shock and disbelief.
The group instantly froze, not feeling at fault, but still subconsciously feeling timid from what they had been taught since
childhood.
“Billy, we, we’re not doing anything, we’re just joking around between classmates.”
“Right, senior, we didn’t do anything, we were just joking around with Selena!” The girl who spoke, gave Selena a vicious glare, and she clasped her arms and once again stood tall.
Angie even never felt she was at fault, standing in place with a petulant face, glaring at Selena and threatening in a small voice, “Don’t try to run!”
Selena gathered her hair behind her ears and stood in place, her face still with that expression that could not be described as boredom or abhorrence.
Billy didn’t say anything, he used a calm to disturbing sight from the dozen or so students who were justified and seemed to really not feel that bullying their classmates was a wrong thing at all.
He glanced again at Selena, who stood there, her eyes weary. She was nineteen years old, but without the slightest trace of the vivid and indulgent air that should be present at that age.
He remembered again her words, “You must have heard of me, you just haven’t seen me.”
He had indeed heard of Selena.
The rumour at school was that she was vicious and domineering, always bullying her sister on account of her family background.
Rumour has it that she is uneducated, cheats in exams and is an unabashed fool.
