As Angel, she would never again believe the words spoken in the name of love.
Angel was ignorant, but someone loved her.
Belle was tolerant, but she died.
Alexia took the steak to Angel, “I always feel The Newman family is too false.”
Angel choked on the water and coughed slightly.
Alexia asked, “What's wrong?”
Angel waved her hand. “It's all right, Aunt, your words scared me.”
Alexia laughed, “What did I say?”
Angel wiped her lip corner and said, “You said the Newman family is too false.”
“Oh.” Alexia put a piece of steak into her mouth, chewing slowly, as if trying to figure out how to phrase.
She took a sip of water and said slowly, “Good things make people feel unreal. I have never thought about that before, but today I met Sofia, I suddenly had this feeling.”
“Anna is too perfect, all rich and powerful daughters see her as a good friend. She is always so soft and gentle, but I felt something wrong.”
Angel smiled. “If I die, you will be sad, but you won’t talk about it with others.”
Alexia's movement suddenly stopped and she looked at Angel with incredible surprise.
Angel put the steak into her mouth and said lightly, “They are using a dead person.”
They did not let her go even if she was dead.
They used her to build a good name for themselves.
“They said they were afraid Sofia would be sad to see Belle’s things, but they have been using Belle's death to perfect their own images?” Alexia was stunned.
Angel said nothing, but took another gulp of water.
“No wonder Sofia was gloomy.” Murmured Alexia.
“What can she do? So what if she knows about it? She loves Charles more than anything, so, she could only place her love to an orphanage. She dares not miss her daughter.” Angel's voice was calm and cold.
Alexia put down the knife and fork and leaned on the chair, “It is sick”
Angel smiled
“Aunt, is the man who stopped Daisy for me at the Yany Restaurant surnames Foster?” Angel asked, lowering her eyes.
“Oh, yes, Jason Foster.” Alexia answered.
Angel's hands were clenched into fists, against her jaw.
“I think Daisy likes him.” Angel looked at Alexia and said.
Alexia sneered, “Daisy is daydreaming. Jason won’t like her.”
The Foster family was one of the four major families.
Philip Foster has three sons. Brooklyn Foster was his eldest son born with his wife. The second son and the third son Noah Foster was born with his mistress, but was raised in the family in the name of his wife.
Philip was a resolute and decisive person. He raised his sons in the principle of survival of the fittest.
So in terms of the right of inheritance, Noah had no advantage. Preston and Noah knew their own identity, so they fought for their goals.
The three sons were like a tiger. In order to show themselves in front of their father, they must constantly improve themselves and create benefits for the foster family, so as to stabilize their position and seize the right of inheritance.
But the problem was that the brothers were quarrelling. The infighting between them would eventually become internal friction.
In a situation where all forces were in balance, marriage became another means of strengthening oneself.
About a decade ago, the family's infighting had reached a fever pitch.
Brooklyn had two sons, Jason and the other lived in a foreign country.
Preston had two twin sons and a daughter.
Noah had two sons.
Before Brooklyn arranged a marriage for his son, he lost hundreds of billions in an investment. That was almost all his possessions.
Mrs. Foster as that time gave up her identity and took her sons to overseas.
That accident finally was proved to be the result of Preston, who had been hunt down by his opponent.
