Chapter 107 She Likes the Wrong Person
“Where are we going?” Aracely was puzzled.
Anaya’s voice was calm and steady. “Massachusetts General Hospital.”
Anaya wanted to return this teddy bear to Joshua.
In the past, Joshua said that this teddy bear would protect her in his place.
In the end, he became the one who hurt her the most.
Now that everything was over, there was no need for her to keep the teddy bear.
It should be the best end to return this teddy bear to its original owner.
Anaya was still wearing her clothes from yesterday. She casually placed the teddy bear on the coffee table in the living room and returned to her room to take a shower and change.
When she came out, the teddy bear on the coffee table disappeared.
Anaya was shocked. She searched around the room and finally found it in Sammo’s kennel.
“You like it, Samino?” she asked as she crouched down.
Sammo let out a “woof” as if it was responding.
Anaya felt that it was a little strange.
Slie had bought a doll for Sammo before, but this dog didn’t seem to like the doll very much.
She didn’t expect Sammo to be interested in such a worn-out teddy bear.
However, she couldn’t give this teddy bear to it.
Anaya picked up the teddy bear, and the dog seemed to be reluctant to part with it.
“I’ll buy you something else next time,” Anaya comforted the dog as she rubbed the dog’s lead.
The dog let out another “ouch” as if it was a little sad and reluctant to part.
Anaya couldn’t bear it, but she still took the teddy bear out.
When Anaya reached Massachusetts General Hospital, Lexie and Joshua were having breakfast.
Anaya had run into Lexie twice, and Anaya guessed that Lexie must lave kept Joshua company in the hospital.
Seeing that Anaya had come again today, Lexie became even warier, but Joshua was present, so she did not show too much hostility.
Lexie revealed a posed smile. “Anaya, are you here to visit Joshua?”
“Yes. I have something to tell him. You can go out for a while.” Anaya had never liked to talk more with Lexie.
Lexie’s smile froze as she looked at Joshua.
Joshua also said, “Go out.”
Lexie secretly gritted her teeth and obediently left.
“Whiat are you doing here today? I won’t lielp you with the project in East Boston.” Joshua looked at Anaya. There was not a smile on his pale face.
“I’m here today for something else,” Anaya said, taking out the teddy bear from her bag, “This is for you.”
“What is this?” Joshua frowned.
Joshua wondered when he had such an ugly and worn-out teddy bear.
“You… You don’t remember it?” Anaya was stunned.
“What do you mean?” Joshua asked.
Anaya was silent. She suddenly felt that it was a little ridiculous.
It turned out that Joshua actually couldn’t remember it.
Anaya had treasured her memories for so many years, and it turned out that her love was one-sided.
After a long while, Anaya opened her mouth again. Her throat was a little dry. “You made this bear yourself. Don’t you remember it?”
“What nonsense are you talking about?” Joshua was confused by Anaya’s series of inexplicable words and said, “I don’t know how to make handcrafts at all. How could I make a teddy bear that only girls like?”
“You … don’t know how to make a teddy bear?” Anaya muttered to hersell, “You actually don’t know how to make…”
“It was ten years ago. Have you ever lived in the Maltz’s manor in the suburbs?” Anaya was unwilling to accept that and still asked.
“When was it exactly?”
“At the end of April and early May.”
“At that time, I went to the neighboring city to participate in a math competition. I was not in Boston for several days. After I came back, I had been in the main manor…”
“Did you get the wrong guy?”
