Chapter 468 The Sign of Miscarriage
Today, Anaya was going to the hospital for pregnancy check-ups. Hearst didn't go to work today. So after breakfast, they went out together.
Before leaving the room, Anaya asked Reina, "Have you done all the preliminary checks?"
Reina nodded and said, "I did it when I was abroad. There is no problem for the time being.
"You can walk around by yourself in the morning. I will come back in the afternoon to accompany you."
"Okay."
Hearst took the previous check-up record and helped Anaya leave.
Reina watched the two leave and walked into the garden. Finally, she sat down in a pavilion and rested.
Today's weather was very good. The sun was warm, and the sun made people sleepy.
Because of Lacey's death, Reina suffered from severe insomnia these days. She started to feel sleepy after sitting for a short while and fell asleep unconsciously.
When she woke up, it was already twelve o'clock.
Anaya stood beside Reina and called her. Seeing that Reina had woken up, Anaya said, "It's time for lunch. Let's go in."
Reina nodded, stood up, and walked out of the pavilion. She casually asked, "Ana, how did it go with your examination?"
"The doctor said that the fetus is well developed and there is no problem." Anaya followed behind Reina. Anaya inadvertently caught a glimpse of the bright red color on her white dress and stopped to ask, "Reina, does your stomach hurt?"
Reina stopped and looked back at Anaya doubtfully.
Anaya said, "There is blood on your dress."
Reina looked down and went shockingly silent.
Anaya had been pregnant for six months, and her baby bump was obviously big. Anaya would be a burden following Reina to the hospital, so she asked her family's servant to accompany Reina to the hospital. Then she called Aracely and asked her to go over to take a look.
When Aracely rushed to the hospital, Reina had just come out of the doctor's office.
"Ms. Harward, how are you?"
Reina's face was pale. She was already thin, and now she looked even more haggard.
"I don't feel any pain, but there has always been a slight amount of blood there. The doctor said that there was a sign of a miscarriage and asked me to do a check-up later. I may have to be hospitalized later to keep the baby."
Aracely breathed a sigh of relief and said, "Have you brought your credentials? I will help you with the hospitalization procedures."
"Thank you."
After settling the formalities and waiting for Reina to settle down, Aracely told Anaya about the situation here and then asked, "Do you want to tell your brother about this?"
"What does Reina think about it?"
"I didn't ask. I feel that if I asked, she would definitely tell me no." Aracely didn't know what happened between Reina and Jaylon, but she had heard a bit from Anaya and knew that Reina was having a conflict with Jaylon.
Anaya hesitated for a few seconds and quickly made a decision. "Help me look after her for a while. I will contact my brother."
The child was both Reina's and Jaylon's. If something happened to Reina, Jaylon should be on the side of the bed.
After talking to Aracely, Anaya immediately called Jaylon.
After hearing that Reina had a sign of miscarriage, Jaylon was quiet for a few seconds. He asked for the address and then hung up the phone without waiting for Anaya to speak.
Aracely had just given Reina a check-up list and was about to take her to the check-up room when the door of the ward was suddenly pushed open.
Jaylon opened the door. He was wearing a tailored suit, tall and handsome.
His hair was a little messy, and his tie was crooked. Although there was nothing unusual in his expression, it still made people faintly feel that he was tight and anxious.
Jaylon straightened his tie and strode over to Reina, his voice low and urgent. "What is the result of the examination?"
When Reina was in trouble today, she had guessed that Jaylon might come
over. Thus, when she saw him appear now, she did not reveal too much
emotion.
"It's just a sign of miscarriage. I'll be checked to see if there are other
problems later."
Reina's expression was a little cold. She obviously didn't want to talk to
Jaylon.
"Where are you going now?" Jaylon shifted his gaze to Aracely.
Aracely replied, "To the third floor for an examination."
Just as she finished speaking, she saw Jaylon bend over and directly pick
up Reina.
Reina suddenly lost her balance and raised her hand to grab his shoulder, her eyebrows slightly wrinkled. Reina shouted, "Jaylon, what are you doing?
Put me down."
Jaylon said, "Ana said on the phone that you are bleeding."
