Reborn: Another Chance to Leave U by Hazel Ramirez novel Chapter 473

Chapter 473 Ms. Harward Is Gone

Edward was in so much pain that tears came out of his eyes. Just as he was about to curse, he was grabbed by the police, and his hand was held behind his back.

Seeing the police, Edward did not dare to speak anymore and immediately became obedient.

Trenton looked at the wound on Jaylon's hand and said, "I will contact the doctor now."

Reina said, "The doctor came too slowly. I'll help you treat your wound first."

"Do you have medical supplies here?" Jaylon looked up at her.

"Edward should have some at home."

When Reina was a child, Edward often fought with people in the underworld and was injured. Therefore, there were medical supplies at home.

Jaylon said, "Okay, go in and take a look."

Reina nodded and turned into the room. Soon, she found the medicine box

in the cabinet beside the sofa and asked Jaylon to go in.

The others were about to follow Jaylon into the room, but Trenton stopped them at the door. "Don't disturb Jaylon."

The other men were stunned for a moment, then they nodded seriously and lined up at the door, not letting anyone in.

Edward divorced his wife a few years ago, and now he had been living alone.

Edward usually did not do the cleaning, and the sofa at home was dark.

Reina was worried that Jaylon would dislike the environment here and refuse to sit on the sofa. She found a clean cushion and was about to place it on the sofa for Jaylon.

However, when Reina turned around, Jaylon had already sat down on the sofa.

Jaylon's expression was normal, and there was no emotion in his eyes. It was as if Jaylon did not care about the environment here at all. His deep black eyes only focused on Reina.

"Why are you motionless?"

Reina pursed her lips and put the cushion back on the table. "I'll help you now."

Reina walked to Jaylon and sat down. She took out all the things she needed and then said to Jaylon, "Take off your coat and roll up your sleeves."

Jaylon's suit was custom-made. The cuffs were not big, and it was difficult to roll them up. It would be troublesome if they slipped down when Reina applied medicine to Jaylon later.

Jaylon looked at her calmly and said in a low voice, "My hand is injured, and I can't undo the buttons."

Jaylon meant that he wanted Reina to help him undo the buttons.

Reina said expressionlessly, "Use the hand that you didn't get hurt to undo it."

Since his sad fishing was ineffective, Jaylon obediently undid his buttons.

Jaylon's black eyes were glued on Reina from beginning to end. His well- defined fingers undid the buttons of his suit one by one, revealing the white shirt inside bit by bit.

The black suit jacket opened up bit by bit, giving off a sense of beauty that made one feel as if his abstinence was being broken.

With Jaylon's calm and indifferent eyes, it added an ambiguous feeling.

Reina felt uncomfortable being stared at by Jaylon and looked away.

Soon, Jaylon's coat was taken off, and his sleeves were rolled up.

Reina picked up a tool to help Jaylon deal with the wound. Looking at the black wound on his wrist after mixing with the dust, Reina could not help but frown.

"Just now, Edward wanted to jump down. Why did you grab him? Let him jump."

Jaylon indifferently replied, "Because he is your uncle."

Jaylon's tone was too matter-of-fact. Reina was slightly startled and

whispered, "Not yours."

"Your family is my family."

Reina did not answer him. She helped him treat his wound before she stood

up, and put the medicine box back in its original place.

When Reina put the medicine box away and turned around, she found that

Jaylon had walked behind her at some point in time.

The tip of Reina's nose brushed past Jaylon's white shirt, and she smelt the man's fragrance.

Reina subconsciously took a step back and distanced herself from Jaylon.

However, there was a cabinet behind Reina, and there was not much space. Thus, even though Reina took a step back, from an outsider's point of view, she was still stuck to Jaylon.

When the few men who were secretly observing at the door saw this, they immediately retracted their gazes and stopped peeping.

Reina looked up at him. Her eyes were cold and indifferent. "Excuse me."

Looking at Jaylon's posture, Reina thought that he would definitely not

retreat so easily.

Unexpectedly, just as Reina finished speaking, Jaylon took a step back and

made way for her.
