Chapter 479 Treat Him to a Meal
After half a minute, the door was opened.
Seeing Anaya's face, Jaylon was disappointed.
"Why are you here?"
"It was Reina who invited me." Anaya raised her eyebrows. "If you have any objections, you can just leave."
Jaylon's face darkened as he entered the room.
Reina looked out from the kitchen. When she saw the flowers that Jaylon was holding, her expression changed slightly. Jaylon immediately explained, "They're fake flowers, which are plastic products."
Hearing this, Reina calmed down and went back to the kitchen to continue cooking.
Jaylon casually placed the flowers on the table, took off his suit jacket, rolled up the sleeves of his white shirt, and walked into the kitchen to help.
Hearst was washing vegetables. Jaylon took the vegetables from his hand and said, "I'll do it."
Hearst directly handed over the work to him and walked out of the kitchen.
Jaylon washed the vegetables while paying attention to Reina's
movements. He couldn't help but ask, "Didn't you say that the dinner was made for two people?"
Reina was peeling fruits for decoration and casually replied, "It was an impromptu idea."
In fact, she was afraid that it would be embarrassing if Jaylon and she stayed alone.
Right now, she was still a little resistant to him. With two more people, the atmosphere would not be so stiff.
Jaylon did not ask any more questions and focused on washing vegetables.
Suddenly, an obvious gasp came from Reina.
Jaylon turned his head and saw that Reina's finger had been cut by a knife,
and blood beads were seeping out.
Jaylon was worried and strode over to hold her hand.
Reina said coldly, "Are you going to suck my finger to stop the blood?"
Jaylon paused.
To please Reina, he had watched a lot of romantic dramas recently, and the male lead usually did this.
But Reina did not seem to like it very much.
"No, I want to help you wash it," he said in a deep voice. Then he asked casually, "Don't you like that?"
Reina replied, "No, the saliva is very dirty."
"Actually, I think so too," Jaylon agreed.
Reina was speechless.
The atmosphere during dinner was quite harmonious. After the meal, Jaylon was afraid that Reina would get annoyed if he stayed for too long, so he washed the dishes and left.
After chatting with Reina for a while, Anaya also left with Hearst.
On the way back, Anaya received a message from Silvia.
Since Silvia went abroad, they didn't contact each other frequently, but
every time they talked, there was no feeling of alienation. Their relationship had always been very good.
Silvia sent Anaya a photo of the plane ticket, saying that the public welfare
organization she attended would send her a representative to visit the country for an exchange, so she would return next week. Silvia would come to Anaya and ask Anaya if it was convenient.
Anaya immediately agreed, and then she was a little worried.
Anaya texted her: "Aren't you afraid that Bryant will see you?"
It took two minutes before Silvia replied: "My dad sent a bodyguard to follow me. It's fine. I won't act alone these days."
Silvia originally didn't want to participate in this event, but she had always wanted to find time to come back and meet up with Anaya, so she agreed.
Anaya was still worried and replied: "You can stay at my house for the next few days. It's safer."
Although the Tirrell family had declined and Bryant was no longer as
aggressive as before, it was better to be careful.
Bryant had nothing now. If he went on an extreme way and wanted to die
with Silvia, then it would be troublesome.
Silvia replied: "Okay."
Two days later, Reina received the list of the company she had worked with
before.
This time, she needed to translate the document online, and she did not
need to go to the company. She could just send the email directly to the
person in charge.
When she translated to the end, she found that the last page of the document was missing, and the content stopped abruptly. So she sent a
message to the person in charge to ask.
But there was no reply, and Reina was a little anxious.
