Chapter 7 Lexie Returns

Riven Group and the Maltz Group had a contract to sign. Anaya took half a day off and went to the Maltz Group with her colleagues. Meanwhile, she wanted to talk about the divorce with Joshua.

Entering the reception room, Anaya was told that Joshua had something to do and went out.

“Where did he go?” Anaya frowned.

The secretary knew that Anaya was Joshua’s wife. After hesitating for a while, she said, “I can’t tell you…”

Anaya didn’t make things difficult for the secretary. She asked, “Do you have his cell phone number?”

The secretary hesitated and reported Joshua’s number to Anaya.

Anaya dialed the number.

Joshua’s steady voice sounded. “Hello, who is that?”

“I am Anaya.” Anaya asked, a little dissatisfied, “Where are you? Didn’t you promise me that you would go to City Hall with me?”

Joshua was silent for a moment before saying, “Lexie has returned back today. I’ll pick her up.”

Anaya didn’t waste any more time with Joshua and asked directly, “When are you coming back? Quickly settle the

divorce with me.”

“I have other arrangements with Lexie.”

“What…”

Without waiting for Anaya to finish, Joshua hung up.

Listening to the beep, Anaya slowly tightened her fingers that held the phone.

Joshua hung up the phone and looked up to see Lexie in a white dress dragging a lockbox towards him.
