Chapter 9 Drink Water and Take Medicine

After arriving home, Anaya called Aracely.

“Aracely, can you ask Winston to introduce me to a fighting coach? I’ll learn how to fight tomorrow!”

Aracely was lying in bed with a facial mask on. “Why do you want to learn to fight?”

“I want to hit someone.”

Next time I won’t let Joshua force me.

On Saturday morning, Anaya and Aracely gathered at the gym.

This gym was backed by Winston. Anaya was Aracely’s friend, so Winston introduced Anaya to the best fighting coach.

The first day was to practice basic skills and there was a lot of physical training.

Aracely watched Anaya practice and thought she was tired.

Winston came over to Aracely and Anaya and brought them some food.

Anaya drank an energy drink and continued her training.

Aracely let Winston sit down and watched Anaya train.

Winston opened the drink and handed it to Aracely. She took a sip and asked, “Mom said that you are on a blind date recently. Do you have a girl you like?”

“No, they don’t match me.”

“That’s good.”

“Why?” Winston was a little surprised.

“If you get married, my parents will definitely urge me to get married. Now they are concerned about your marriage, so they ignore me.”

When Winston heard this, he laughed.

Aracely giggled and leaned over to touch Winston’s shoulder. “What kind of girl do you like? Maybe I can introduce my friend to you.”

“No, I already have someone.”

“Who? How long have you liked her?”

“I’ve liked her for eight years.”

“I didn’t even know this! Eight years… Did you know her before you came to the Tarleton family?”

At the age of sixteen, when Winston’s parents died in an accident, he had been living with the Tarleton family. Over the years, Aracely’s parents had always treated him as their own child. They even asked him to manage the company.

In Aracely’s memory, Winston seldom liked a girl for such a long time. So she thought he might have known the girl before he came to the Tarleton family.

Winston smiled but did not speak. He stood up and touched Aracely’s head.

“I still have something to do. There is a restaurant in the opposite mall. You can go to eat some food at noon.”

“Alright.” Aracely didn’t ask Winston what happened between him and the girl.

After Anaya’s morning training, Anaya and Aracely went to the shopping mall opposite.

When they passed by the jewelry store, a middle–aged woman stopped Anaya.

he woman was wearing a brown chiffon shirt and a pair of straight black pants with a silk scarf on her neck. She ooked elegant.

“Mrs. Maltz.” Anaya stopped.

She was already prepared to divorce Joshua, so she didn’t call Cecilia mother.

Cecilia walked out of the store, followed by Lexie.

Anaya raised her eyebrows.

Before she and Joshua divorced, Lexie had come to curry favor with Cecilia.

Cecilia stopped in front of Anaya and said arrogantly, “Joshua said that you had gone back to your parents‘ home. What happened?”

Cecilia had gone on a vacation and did not know that Anaya and Joshua were going to divorce.

Joshua did not tell Cecilia about this, and Anaya only said, “It’s my business, not yours.”

“You are very impolite to me.” Cecilia was unhappy.

She had always disliked Anaya.

Anaya married Joshua with a dowry of 800 million dollars. Cecilia’s friends said that it was all thanks to Anaya that

the Maltz family could solve the difficulty, and thought that Cecilia didn’t make as much contribution to the Maltz

family as Anaya did.

When Anaya just married Joshua, she had many bad habits and was impolite.

Cecilia had made a lot of rules for Anaya. Anaya was obedient and did not resist her. Anaya even greeted her cautiously.

Anaya is impolite to me. How dare she do this to me after she comes back to her parents‘ home?

Thinking of this, Cecilia became even more unhappy and scolded Anaya, “You have married Joshua. You can’t go back

to your parents‘ home at will. If people know this, they will think Joshua treats you badly.”

“If there’s nothing else, I’ll be leaving first,” Anaya looked at Cecilia indifferently and said impatiently.

“Wait!” Cecilia stopped Anaya. “We just happened to meet today. Come with me to the hospital.”

“Are you sick? You should drink water and take medicine. Goodbye.”

“I want to take you to the doctor! You and Joshua have been married for a year, but you haven’t been pregnant yet. I

suspect you have infertility.” Cecilia was furious with Anaya’s words.

Anava didn‘t explain and was ready to leave. “Mrs. Maltz, my friend and I are hungry, so we‘re going to leave. If you
