Reborn From Ashes novel Chapter 134

Meanwhile, in the hospital ward Julia sighed helplessly and said, "I was unable to persuade Hayden to come back. He might still be angry.".

"Impossible. Didn't he care greatly about Morgan in the past? Why is he suddenly refusing to visit? Where did you meet him earlier?" Charlotte asked impatiently, feeling anxious.

Up until this moment, she believed Hayden's return to be an indication of him trying to reconcile with the Sterling family. That was the reason he took good care of Morgan.

"It was at the stock exchange. By chance, we ran into him buying stocks," Anna answered.

"Stocks? Did that brat take our money? I knew he'd be up to no good! I'm sure he took a lot of money. It's no wonder he was so calm. That bastard!" Francis fumed and cursed away.

He was positively enraged by Hayden's action.

"Dad, don't get angry. Maybe Hayden's trying to get all that money because he was misled. He's never seen that much money before. It's understandable if he was tempted by it. He probably traded stocks in hopes of getting rich quickly. It would most likely fail," Morgan said, pretending to shield Hayden.

"Hmph! I don't care what his motives were! How dare that brat take my money and waste it like that! Once this is over, I'll make him return every little thing he took from us!" Francis yelled.

The entire room fell into an oppressive silence. No one dared to say a word as they stared at Francis quietly, knowing full well that Hayden was doomed!

"However, there was a little coincidence. Hayden actually bought Kaiser Group's stock! Our collaboration with them hasn't started, and no news of it was leaked, yet he managed to buy that stock! Regardless, if he can't sell that stock in a short time, he will surely be losing money," Julia stated coldly.

Most of them understood what she meant by those words. She was referring to the full-scale collaboration between Sterling Group and Kaiser Group, which included their plan to manipulate the stock market!

"It's probably just pure dumb luck. Don't worry about it," Francis dismissed it nonchalantly, not worrying in the least about why Hayden would buy that stock.
