Hayden was pissed and stopped in his tracks, then turned slowly to look at Lily. He glared at her intently, his eyes gleaming with a hint of viciousness.

"You're right. In the past, I loved talking to you. That's because you're the only one working from home, and when you talked through the camera, you were easygoing, beautiful, and gracious. However, I was wrong. That only applies to other people, especially your fans.

"Whenever I approached you to talk, I would be met with your mockery and insults! Each time, it would erode your likeability. Do you still remember what you said the last time I approached you?" Hayden sneered, the scornful look deepening as he spoke.

Memories of the past resurfaced in his mind, making him feel uneasy and hurt.

"The last time…" Lily muttered, then started to recall the past.

In the past, the last time Hayden came to her room, he waited for her outside quietly.

Back then, he was warned multiple times by Lily not to enter when she was doing a live stream.

Hayden was obedient and didn't act recklessly. He stood quietly outside the door, waiting for Lily's live stream to finish. All he wanted was to talk to his sister.

However, when Lily was done with her stream, she wanted to get some water and ran into Hayden, who stood right in front of her door.

Her good mood was ruined immediately, and she glared at Hayden, unleashing all her frustrations on him.

"Are you a fucking stalker? Why are you always hanging around my door? Don't you have anything better to do?

"I'm starting to wonder what you do in your free time. Why are you so annoying? What have I done to make you bug me every day? You're so disgusting!" Lily roared, venting out all her frustrations on him.

Her words felt like sharp icicles that pierced right through Hayden's heart. Her words tore through him mercilessly, hurting his feelings.

Hayden didn't understand what he did wrong. He was only trying to talk to his sister.
