"Hayden, I'm better now, thanks to you. My birthday party is tomorrow. You'll be there, right?"
On this day, Morgan made a call to Hayden because he was afraid that Hayden wouldn't show up at his birthday party. Before this, he had already informed Hayden about it, hoping that he could come. Otherwise, he wouldn't be able to proceed with his plans.
"Don't worry. I'll be there." Hayden cocked an eyebrow and chuckled. "Do you want to come pick me up?"
After all, in Hayden's past life, Morgan was afraid that Hayden wouldn't show up, so he had personally gone to pick him up. In this life, Hayden already knew what Morgan would do.
"Pick you up? That's a good idea. It happens to be on the way, so I can give you a ride. Let's go together, then," Morgan agreed immediately, sounding very excited. But deep down, he only felt contempt for Hayden.
Morgan wondered if Hayden had a death wish. He had been afraid that Hayden wouldn't agree, but instead, Hayden had walked right into his trap. He would make sure that Hayden died a horrible death.
After that, Morgan hung up the phone and smiled satisfactorily.
"What are you so happy about?"
At the Sterling residence, Francis couldn't help but feel puzzled when he saw Morgan's expression.
"Dad, Hayden just called. He said that he wants to come to my birthday party, so I agreed. I'll pick him up tomorrow. You won't mind, right?" Morgan asked, looking at Francis sincerely.
"Since he's already left the Sterling family, it's best if you stay as far away from him as possible. If he attends your birthday party and causes trouble, who's going to be responsible for it?" Francis replied coldly.
