A housekeeper?
David's eyes widened in disbelief as he stared at them.
Did they just call Hayden a housekeeper? The Sterling family was truly absurd.
"Mr. Schnapp, shall I kick him out?" Morgan immediately spoke, his voice trembling slightly.
He had only planned to simply humiliate Hayden in front of everyone. Who would have thought that this president of the Chamber of Commerce would notice such an insignificant person? Yet, his reaction was so unusual.
"That won't be necessary. Let's take our seats," David said, his expression returning to normal as he looked ahead coldly.
However, he was sneering inwardly. The Sterling family was truly something. He would see how this would play out later.
"Yes. Don't worry about him. Everyone, please sit!" Morgan exhaled in relief and hurried to pull out a chair for David, honoring him with his gesture.
"Alright. Serve the food!" Francis called out loudly, signaling the start of the party.
Soon, every table was laden with exquisite dishes, a luxurious feast that showcased the Sterling family's wealth.
The hall was filled with laughter and lively conversation, glasses clinking as people toasted each other. Yet, many eyes remained fixed on David, hoping for a chance to exchange even a word with him.
Hayden quietly observed the scene, his expression calm and indifferent. He wasn't in a rush. He was simply waiting for the eventual outcome.
At that moment, a figure appeared beside him. It was Julia.
