Morgan let out a cold snort, his tone filled with dissatisfaction and anger.
Deep down, he eagerly waited for the party to end, confident that it would mark Hayden's doom.
It was at this moment that a voice rang out. "Brighton University is a top-tier institution. It's already impressive that Mr. Sterling's daughter got in. But now, your son is going too. That's truly enviable!
"Mr. Sterling, your son got two perfect scores in the exams. Is that true?" David asked abruptly.
"Of course, it's true! It's all thanks to the excellent environment and nurturing conditions of our city," Francis replied with a hearty laugh, providing an implausible explanation.
"Good! Why not let your son show off a little in front of everyone? I'll pose a few questions for him to solve," David suggested with an amused smile.
"This is…" Francis hesitated, looking embarrassed. For a moment, he didn't know how to refuse.
He had expected a simple compliment, not an actual test. If Morgan couldn't answer the questions, it would be a public humiliation!
"Don't worry, Dad. I can handle it. As long as the questions are at the high school level, I'll have no problem!" Morgan said confidently.
"Very well. Mr. Schnapp, please go ahead and ask," Francis said with a polite bow, forcing a smile.
As soon as he spoke, the room buzzed with excitement. Everyone was fully focused, eager to see how this "perfect scorer" would perform.
Even Charlotte and others seemed brimming with confidence in Morgan.
In their minds, he was an exceptionally smart student. This was a rare opportunity for him to showcase his intellect and shine.
David Schnapp chuckled. "Oh, I'm no expert. Back in my day, I was just an average student. We should let the professionals do it," he said, waving dismissively.
