"What?" Charlotte's mind went blank at the news, and everything seemed to spin around her.

She could hear a ringing sound echoing in her ears. The world felt as though it were collapsing, threatening to crush her.

"What exactly is going on? Tell me quickly!" she urged anxiously.

Helpless, Julia had no choice but to tell her everything she had discovered about the events at Sapphire Heights. She even went as far as to confirm the evidence with a DNA test.

With each word she said, time seemed to pass slowly. The atmosphere grew heavier with each passing moment.

"So, what you're saying is… Francis had a child with another woman, brought him home and adopted him as his son? And all this time, I've treated him as my own son and raised him with love and care! Even when Hayden came back, I ignored my biological son and gave him no attention or care!"

Tears streamed down Charlotte's face, each drop falling uncontrollably.
