Benjamin didn't take the matter to heart and waved nonchalantly, gesturing for Hayden's release.

Hearing that, the Sterlings seemed to grow excited. They quickly gathered around Hayden, but the atmosphere was awkward, with everyone not knowing what to say.

Meanwhile, Hayden ignored them the entire time. He had long grown tired of this family.

"Let's go! You guys hold onto him. Make sure you don't leave anything behind. I'll carry this gem with Morgan. Chop chop!" Francis instructed.

"Got it!" Julia and the others nodded and walked up to Hayden.

However, just as they were about to reach out to stop Hayden from leaving, he suddenly waved his hand and pushed them away. He wouldn't let them touch him.

Things turned even more awkward, and the atmosphere was suffocating.

Julia's group was stunned, their eyes showing signs of panic. However, both parties didn't say anything.

"Go already!" Francis waved at them impatiently.

Just as the group was about to leave, Benjamin's men around them stepped forward, surrounding Francis' group with their burly bodies.

"Mr. Sterling, perhaps you've misheard me earlier! I said you can take him away, but I didn't say anything about letting you take that gem away!" Benjamin remarked, his voice turning icy.
