Outside, Christina stared at Jenny's silhouette and couldn't help but laugh. She couldn't resist taking a glance at her own body. It seemed that her charm didn't just work on men, but on women as well.
Once she went to college, she would probably gain a lot of fangirls.
Soon, Jenna and Christina returned to the living room. They both looked awkward, but there was a tacit understanding not to bring the previous incident up.
By then, Hayden had already brought the gem out of the kitchen cabinet.
"Let's go. We're going to the auction house first," Hayden stated casually.
They took a taxi and headed straight for Prima Auction House.
Just as they entered, a man dressed in a suit came out to greet them.
"Hello. Are you the one who called earlier about selling your emerald?" the man asked.
"Yes." Hayden nodded.
He knew that Prima Auction House required an advance appointment. His precious emerald had piqued their interest, and they had told him that someone would be there to welcome him.
"Please come with me!" The man smiled courteously and led the trio inside.
Just as they left, a group of people walked out of the elevator. It was none other than David and his subordinates.
"That's enough. This is far enough. Just remember what I told you," David said nonchalantly.
"Yes… of course. Consider it done!" a man in his 60s said as he nodded fervently.
He was the director of Prima Auction House, Quentin Summers.
Quentin placed great importance on David's visit. After learning about the reason for the visit, Quentin didn't dare to delay in the slightest.
David nodded lightly and then turned around to leave.
Quentin let out a sigh of relief, feeling the burden lift from his shoulders.
After seeing David's car drive away into the distance, he finally turned around to leave.
