"Dad, you're so kind! Hayden will surely be grateful to you. Deep down, I'm sure he cares about our family!" Morgan declared confidently, his eyes giving off an innocent glint.
It was as if they all believed that Hayden would agree to their demands.
"Let's go. Which one of you will be informing Hayden? I won't play nice if he doesn't hand over the company!" Francis said in a threatening tone. Then, he left.
He took Morgan with him, intending to show Morgan how domineering he could be when it came to business dealings.
"I won't be visiting Hayden. He's too full of himself right now! Seeing him would only disgust me. Leave me out of it!" Lily pouted and turned to leave.
She had enough of Hayden for the day and was unwilling to meet him again under any circumstances.
Left with no other choice, Charlotte could only take Anna and Julia with her. On the way there, they discussed their plan.
"What should we do? If Hayden really hands over his new company to Dad, will Dad agree to let him return to the family?" Anna asked softly with an innocent look.
"Dad already said so, didn't he? I think he would. He can't be lying to all three of us, right?" Julia pondered solemnly with a frown.
The two sisters were uncertain and turned to Charlotte. They could only ask for her help.
"Mom, say something!" Julia urged, feeling a little anxious.
At that moment, Charlotte was frowning, her expression grim. She knew all too well what Francis was thinking.
"He's asking for a thriving company with vast potential in exchange for Hayden's return, but does Francis really care about Hayden? All he cares about is the company and Hayden's success! I don't want Hayden to give up his company, but I want him to return to our family.
