Staring at the open door, a sense of helplessness washed over Charlotte and her two daughters. They could feel that Haydne's stubbornness. There was just no way they could convince him!

"Think it over carefully. I really don't want to see you in danger. Francis' ruthless methods are far beyond what you can imagine," Charlotte warned as she left, leaving Hayden standing there silently in front of the window by himself.

"You have no idea how much I want Francis to act. Bring it on! My second take in this life would be a waste if I don't turn the Sterling family into a mess!"

Hayden cackled ruthlessly as he clenched his fists. Going against the Sterling family was the only thing that could motivate him at this point.

Meanwhile, Charlotte, Julia, and Anna returned to the Sterling residence. Their faces were a painting of defeat and frustration.

They had failed miserably!

"Sheesh! Hayden sure is stubborn! Doesn't he understand that one can't simply go against a giant?" Julia sighed, shaking her head.

"He's young and hot-headed. He thinks he has what it takes to go against our family just because his company has seen some growth! This will only make him more reckless in the future!" Anna muttered with a frown, her emotions in turmoil.

Charlotte let out a heavy sigh, feeling drained and exhausted. She wanted so badly to help Hayden, yet her efforts were outright rejected.

Having been married to Francis for so many years, she had witnessed his ruthless and unforgiving tactics firsthand. If he were to use such methods on Hayden, Charlotte would be devastated.

Just then, Lily came down from the second floor. When she noticed the expressions on the trio's face, she immediately understood what had happened.

"You see? I told you he wouldn't agree! How does it feel to be rejected bluntly?" Lily mocked with a smug smile.

"That…" Charlotte tried to say something but then decided against it. Instead, she let out a deep sigh.

"Mom, you should've listened to me and left him alone! That company of his is only a success because of pure dumb luck! There's no way Hayden has what it takes to maintain a company like that. He'll fail for sure!" Lily shook her head, her gaze filled with contempt.
