"Is she the one?" James asked curiously.
He and Serena had investigated Christina in the past, and her background was clean. Moreover, they were quite satisfied with her too. If it really was Christina, they were willing to accept her.
"Jeez, stop saying nonsense. It's nothing." Hayden quickly shook his head, denying it once more.
After all, it was still too early to say anything for sure. What was there to talk about?
"Fine. Either way, you have my support! Whatever you plan to do, remember that you still have us!" James said with a bright smile.
"Alright!" Hayden nodded in agreement.
After dinner, he went back to his room.
Meanwhile, James and Serena busied themselves in the kitchen.
"It's fortunate that Hayden won the lawsuit this morning. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to hold back from destroying the Sterlings!" James lamented.
"I told you, you should believe in Hayden. Just be patient, and you'll get to enjoy a good show!" Serena chuckled.
The two had been keeping a close eye on Hayden's lawsuit. They knew that his chances of winning were slim, so they wanted to help him out. However, they were also curious to see how he would've handled it.
Luckily, Hayden's trick worked, and it also made them marvel at his excellence.
"Time passes way too slowly. If only the semester starts earlier, we could bring Hayden along to the capital!" James sighed. He had been thinking of doing that for some time now.
"Yeah. If he stays here, the Sterlings will just keep picking on him! Waiting for the semester to start is such a torture!" Serena couldn't help but sigh as well.
