Reborn From Ashes novel Chapter 36

"We don't need to find evidence to prove that terrible man is guilty! Who else would do such an evil deed in our family? Since you aren't at home often, you wouldn't know the horrendous things he did!"

Lily shook her head in frustration and anger. She despised Hayden.

"I got it." Anna nodded and fell silent. She realized that Lily obviously had no evidence to back her claims.

Lily believed that Hayden was wrong due to her prejudice. A person's biased opinion couldn't be changed easily.

It seemed that the rumors surrounding Hayden were most likely not true.

"Did Hayden look for you? You can't believe his pitiful words. He's a natural actor—everyone has been fooled by him. Don't fall for his tricks because you haven't interacted with him much," Lily added immediately. She was afraid that Anna would fall for Hayden's tricks.

"I got it. Everything's fine now, Lily." Anna smiled and went back to her room.

Lily was still very suspicious. As she looked at Anna's closed door, she felt rather curious.

Did Anna overhear something? Or did Hayden meet Anna by himself?

Lily thought, "I can't let that darned bastard trick my family! Anna is a young and naive student. He might fool her! I'll have to warn Hayden not to cause trouble for her!"

In the meantime, Anna sat on her bed quietly. She looked quite calm.

That person was the housekeeper, Stephanie Winx. She stared at Anna curiously. It was her first time seeing Anna in Hayden's room.

"I'm just looking around," Anna explained.

Suddenly, she asked, "Is this where Hayden has been living in the past? Are there other rooms available for him in the house?"

"There are other rooms. At first, he was living on the second floor. However…" Stephanie trailed off. Her expression looked strange.

"What happened?" Anna hurriedly questioned. Her doubts were confirmed.
