In her heart, Jenny thought that Christina was nothing but a pretty face.
"Let's go," Hayden said gently to Christina.
"Alright," Christina replied with a soft smile.
The two walked and chatted, explaining why Jenny had tagged along. Hearing the story, Christina couldn't help but laugh, occasionally glancing at Jenny. She found Jenny quite amusing.
"Stop looking! Don't forget, you used to scheme against my brother and tried to harm him! I'll never forget, and I'll always be on guard against you!" Jenny blurted out a timely threat.
Christina's face flushed with guilt, and she quickly shifted her gaze away.
Thinking of her earlier agreement with Lily, she couldn't help but feel foolish. She had been too naive, agreeing to such things for some money.
"It's all in the past. Don't dwell on it," Hayden said quickly to comfort her.
"Thank you, but back then, I was just ignorant." Christina bit her lip, her embarrassment evident.
Hayden sighed helplessly, casting a glance at Jenny. This little rascal always knew how to hit a sore spot!
…
Soon, they arrived at the company.
Since everyone had been notified in advance, the team had prepared everything the night before. So, they could head to the studio with their equipment today as soon as work started.
They headed over to the studio by car.
The studio was a cluster of vintage buildings, originally constructed by a famous director for a major movie. It had caused a sensation throughout Stonybrook back then, attracting many visitors even after filming concluded.
Following the movie's release, the place became even more popular, eventually evolving into a tourist spot.
