Reborn From Ashes novel Chapter 383

Lily chose to ignore Christina, purely out of regard for Morgan. She strode toward the fitting rooms with a proud expression.

Morgan watched Lily's retreating figure and couldn't help but lick his lips. His gaze flickered with an intensity that bordered on fervent, a tinge of crimson bleeding into his irises.

"She's gorgeous…"

When he admired her graceful silhouette, his heart raced. It was as though he'd had a glimpse of heaven.

Meanwhile, Lily arrived at the fitting room and happened to run into Christina. Her expression turned icy cold. It was as frigid as the depths of winter.

"Hello, Ms. Sterling," Christina greeted awkwardly. After all, they had met before, so she couldn't pretend she didn't know her.

"Hmph!" Lily scoffed coldly, refusing to respond. She was far too proud to greet someone like Christina.

This left Christina feeling awkward, forcing a bitter smile. It was like offering warm feelings, only to be met with a cold rebuke.

Seeing Lily ignore her, Christina could only quietly step away to change her outfit. The fitting rooms looked shabby—seven or eight in total, each separated by simple curtains.

Jenny was idly waiting for Hayden and Christina. Suddenly, something caught her attention. A quick flash of light darted across her vision.

She'd experienced it before, back in her school days. It was like someone was using a mirror to reflect sunlight, deliberately shining it her way.

Her brows furrowed as a flicker of unease crossed her face. After that, she turned toward the fitting rooms.

When her gaze landed on it, she was stunned. The reflection caught the light and flashed her eyes. She immediately identified it as a camera!
