After all, even if someone got killed, it wasn't their problem.
Seeing this, Morgan knew it was the right time, so he stepped forward.
"Hey, Lily, are you okay? Are you feeling better now? Did you get it off your chest? He's really eating his words now that you've shown him how it feels. Leave the rest to me. I'll handle it from here!" Morgan said firmly, acting like he was really concerned about the situation.
"Fine. But remember to make him pay a heavy price!" Lily snapped back, gritting her teeth as she glared at Logan. It was as if she wanted to peel his skin off.
"I'll make sure he does," Morgan replied, finally finding an excuse to grab Logan and drag him out.
He was eager to get away, afraid that something might go wrong if they stayed too long.
Soon, the two of them disappeared from view, leaving only Lily, still fuming in place.
But by now, no one else seemed to care.
The crowd had quietly dispersed, not wanting to stick around for the drama.
"What do we do now? Should we leave?" Christina whispered.
Even though the photos weren't of her, she couldn't shake the feeling of unease.
She couldn't help but wonder what would happen if it had been her.
"No need. Why should we leave? The photos weren't of us, so we'll just keep taking ours! I'll stick around to keep an eye on things. Don't worry," Hayden said seriously, his tone firm.
"Okay." Christina felt a bit lighter at his words. It felt nice to be protected. It gave her a sense of security.
"Exactly. We're all here, so who's gonna mess with you? And besides, where there's nothing to poke at, trouble won't come looking for you. If we just mind our own business, why would anything happen? Right, Hayden?"
